It's no problem! I actually have two boxes of trash pokerus actually so I'm good, I've been doing a LOT of wondertrading

So I was playing Pokemon on my wife's 3DS, and when I switched back to my 3DS, my in game friend list on the bottom screen had no friends on it. I checked my friend safari and everyone's avatar is now a blank sillohuete. Does that mean I can't access the hidden abilities any more?

Friend code is attached to the 3DS this generation rather than the game.

Yeah Crawdaunt was moved up to overused in gen 6 because he turned out as stupid as azumarril did, almost entirely because of adaptability and aqua jet - as well as the buff to knock off.

Does anyone remember how many boxes of random IDs were best for the Lotto ID? I have been wonder trading a lot of breeding rejects and have a daunting amount of Pokemon just sitting there, and I feel as if I should clean some of them out, but I also really like running to the Lotto ID every day to see if I can score a PP Max.

In other news, I have finished a Ralts breeding project, so if anyone wants a 4-5IV Special Attacker Ralts with all kinds of stupid egg moves you will never use (Skill Swap, Destiny Bond, Disable, Shadow Sneak), just let me know.

I've actually got RestTalk Mega Aggron working with a little bit of consistency now. When he gets going he's fucking scary.

For example, this battle. A little luck at the beginning translated into what would have been a sweep if my opponent hadn't forfeited.

I'm still working on the team, though. Totally willing to replace literally anyone except Vaporeon and Aggron, and I could probably be convinced to replace Vaporeon if you convinced me that Aqua Ring (and the occasional sub when I can afford a turn) isn't as hype as I'm making it out to be.

I personally prefer Taunt on my Sableye. Works through Substitute, stops buffers, and breaks walls. Vaporeon for example would have to either Struggle to death or switch. If I knew Vaporeon was going to switch out, the next thing that comes in is eating a Foul Play to the face. And you're looking reeeeeeel good on the Attack-oriented stuff.

Yeah, I'm probably going to replace Wish on Vaporeon with Scald considering I never find myself Wishing anyway. Shame, 232-HP Wishes are nothing to scoff at.

I'm not sure exactly what I want to be doing with my Sableye. Right now if I have pokemon out other than Vaporeon or Aggron it's probably because I've already lost anyway, which is the biggest reason I'm not yet happy with the team. I need to be able to hold my own if the sweeper goes down.

Like, literally the entire reason Ferrothorn is there is because an early version of the team had Dragon Tail on Aggron rather than Curse and I wanted someone to throw up hazards so they'd be taking damage everytime I hit them away.

I could take out all but Aggron and Vaporeon and my w/l ratio would probably be similar to now.

It's super effective! Aggron lost 19.1% of its health!

How much mileage are you getting from Curse at this point that it's better than a second move?

A lot.

I'm regularly getting +6 Atk and Def before a sub from Vaporeon goes down, and even if I don't get to pass a sub by late game nothing physical can touch me.

I feel like if anything, you should prepare something to deal with Rotom-W. Magnezone isn't used often but Rotom is much more common, and Wash is the most common of the Rotoms. And it takes 0.25 from Steel, which is the only move Aggron is going to be running...

Ok Pokemon thread... You are very... Confusing...

I missed the whole pokemon boat when i was a kid, but my son is getting big into it. Hes played Black pretty hard for the last few months and has a very modest collection of Pokes. Now that the eshop is working again, i see the pokebank isnt available still. So we cant move his dudes over to his new copy of X. How does he trade with people/get in on some of these giveaways you nice people are doing?

So, y'all have heard Pokemon Bank basically broke Nintendo, right? Right. It's been delayed until things are fixed.

The good news is that while it was up in Japan enough people were able to import their old Pokes that the ones you couldn't get before are now available. I managed to get two of the old starters through Wonder Trade, and I'm breeding them so hard I fear my Ditto will die of exhaustion.
