    Damn Tau, I just can't crack their HQ.

    Well then.

    The Space Marines just drove me from Kronus in the DC campaign. Damn bastards snuck up and owned my HQ without me even realizing.

    Are there any single-player mods that make the campaign worth doing again?

    I always liked doing the wargear things but once I get them all I lose interest in actually playing.

    Skirmishes are always fun for me, if you want single player action. I never tried the Tyranid mod, but it looks neat.

    I have taken down the Tau, the Necrons, and the Guard in campaign. Playing as Orks. But sweet jesus, I hate fighting both chaos and marines in DoW, and I imagine I will hate Eldar, as I loathe them in tabletop.

    Been playing thought the campiagn with dem chaos boyz...

    Is it just me, or does chaos have a fairly shitty vehicle selection? Preds are alright, but it seems like dedicated antitank units can waste them, and you only get 2. Defilers are ok artillery, and ok at melee, but they don't really excel at either, and the rhino is just a transport thrown for the sake of chaos having a transport.

    on the same topic, upgrading the turrets/cannon on preds: what's better: upgrading the heavy bolter turrets on the sides, or upgrading the main gun? Should you upgrade one or both turrets?

    They're very shitty, but they're great during the first ten minutes of the game.

    After that though, defilers automatically suck for one reason or another. It's bogus.

    And upgrade everything, chaos have poor ass anti-vehicle units.


    Anyone up for a game tomorrow, or eventually?
