Yes, Pokemon are now in the iOS and Android versions of Google Maps. Simply click on them to capture them -- there's even a Pokedex in the Maps app now. There's 150 of them in set locations across the world, and if you find all 150 of them by 2 p.m. April 2, you could get a chance to work at Google as a Pokemon Master starting in September... maybe? I have no idea if they're serious or not. At any rate, what a random and cool team-up.

Cue "Nintendo to make Android apps CONFIRMED."

Yeah I downloaded the update and still couldn't get anything new.

You don't have to do anything -- mine was all set to go with no updates. But there's only 150 of them scattered across the world, so you have to go to specific locations. Try the White House to get started.

But how do we start it? People are saying click the search bar then click start. There's no 'start' to click.

Probably. Figure out a zoom level that works, pull images, subtract all pixels of a few specific colors (the ones normal to google maps), anything that remains is probably a Pokemon so catch it.

That said, it doesn't seem to work on the web page, only the mobile app, so... that makes it trickier by far.
