So when I was in grade school, my mom rented some VHS tapes of a television show she had apparently enjoyed before I was born. I remember kind of enjoying the program, but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I've tried googleing this and searching the library cataloger already. This has been driving me crazy off and on for over a year, so I'd really appreciate it if anybody else remembers this program and can tell me what it was called.
As far as I remember, it was a comedy program about an American guy in a relationship with a British girl. (
Not Frasier.) The show opened with the two telling stories about their relationship, and frequently cut back to their commentary on the plot of the episode.
In one episode, the American guy either hired or talked his friends into pretending to be his parents, and there was some fiasco over that during dinner. I remember there was another one where they looked at a photography exhibit and the girl got mad because she thought the guy was attracted to the blond woman in the photos.
The last episode I remember better, (probably because I wasn't supposed to watch it) was about the fact that the English girl had never seen a guy completely naked before. Once her boyfriend/fiance realized this, he attempted to resolve the issue by having her look at a statue of a naked guy in a park, and I think she freaked out.
Thanks!

The show was "no honestly."
