Alright, so, quick question. Its been brought to my attention that I may tend toward a slower burn than most people want in a pbp, and especially given this is a "dungeon crawler", I don't want to bore you guys. If setpiece to setpiece, action to action, is what you guys would enjoy more than the character-interaction moments I like to pepper throughout a game, I'd like to know.
My experience with the system is completely in-person, and that definitely effects the way I'm running things. But I don't want the game to sputter out because of that.
I realized I was taking too long to get you guys to some action (which, in a live action game, wouldn't have been, but here its obviously stretched out quite a bit) and am trying to rectify that for you now. But, overall, I'd just like to know what you'd like to see from the rest of the adventure, so that the thread doesn't pick up just for me to kill it again with pacing you guys don't enjoy.

I delight in character interaction, but I'm happy to get into a fight whenever.
Currently Playing:
The Division, Warframe (XB1)
GT: Tanith 6227
This is my first pbp and I'm pretty much just happy to be here. I'm liking this so far but would probably also like whatever other kinds of encounters you're going to throw at us.
Halek posts up at the point where the old man turns the corner and lays down some suppressive fire, waiting for the others to pass him. Assuming they do, he hoofs it after them.
"This is so much better isn't it?" Karimyr glared at Hawke, "Perhaps while we're at it, there really should be some more things to keep things interesting. Like say some Delsca rats who have discovered how to use bows to shoot poisoned arrows at us as well!"
The skeletons continue to march forward as Lenore shouts and brandishes her holy symbol. They are not, apparently, undead.
As some of the party engage the skeletons from afar, the sound of skittering and clicking grows loud enough for all to begin to hear. And, of course, the skeletons draw closer to the intersection.

Alright guys, so, two PM arguments in less than 24 hours is enough for me to call this game at an end. Sorry guys, but this was supposed to be something to help me de-stress, not ruin my ability to sleep at night.

Immediately Lenore rushes forward yanking the medallion from her neck. Brandishing the holy symbol it erupts in brilliant greenish light.
"Back, beasts born from Below," Lenore shouts. "The Blessed Ancestors command you!"

Love character interaction. I think DW makes it not have to be either or. It's all about pacing really.
