Weapons. You find blueprints and take them to the weapon store.

Also, whats the going price for the amiibo 3-pack? Im fairly certain the $60 I just paid on Amazon is scalper price, but i kinda dont care right now.

That's mainly what it has - atm as far as friends list stuff goes you can opt to try to get into a friend's lobby

    This game is so good

Bought it digital an hour before the unlock. Started playing as soon as it let me.

Got obliterated the first few rounds, which was to be expected (especially since I got dropped into a team of Japanese people all above level 10). Slogged my way to level 4 in that lobby, then went and bought all the things (thinking maybe I had to buy everything to get newer items available with multiple slots, but alas...).

Next lobby was a lot better -- mostly people my level, only one with double-digits. That's when I started doing a lot better. Wasted a lot of time splatting walls, but I didn't fall into the trap of hunting enemy players, so I wound up with high scores for my team almost every time.

I'll probably run through the single-player this weekend, but it's hard to tear myself away from the multiplayer level grind. I'm a bit worried I may grow weary of it once my level tops out, though.

I was wondering about that because I had 21k and bought every last thing before bed. 5 hours later and there were no new clothes.

Apparantly, during that time, the game decided I was Japanese

Managed to snag some of the Splatoon waterguns from Target. One for me and two for my kids, I was by myself and the store is being pretty strict on the one-per-customer but the clerk recognized me and knew that I did in fact have actual children (and I think they were a little fatigued at the amiibo nonsense, apparently 30 people lined up at 6A). Glad to have them but can't help but be a little disappointed at how cheaply made they are; The Splatoon branding is a single sticker, and on one of them the sticker has fallen off already from the heinous act of moving the bag. Oh well, what can you do, better than nothing I suppose.

Not the best figures, but they're neat enough to own if you're a big enough fan of the game.

    The Amiibos are awesome figurines.

They have actual see through plastic tanks, half full of plastic ink!

They are well designed and I love the ink splats on the base.

Oh, really? I thought single-player and multiplayer unlocks were totally separate. I guess that explains why there's clearly nothing in the shop that looks like the silhouette of a Dynamo Roller.

Also, FUCK the Dynamo Roller. What do you even do against that thing?

On the subject of weapon unlocks, why is it that it seems like every single unlock is a "gain range or killing power, lose ink coverage" tradeoff? You'd think in a game where ink coverage is the winning condition the opposite would be true. Maybe all the good wide-splatter weapons are in singleplayer.

They're okay figures. Excellent on an Amiibo standpoint, but labeling it excellent is far from accurate.

Nothing feels better then destroying an enemy team with a k/d ratio of like 900:1 by focusing on the mission objective. I'm so glad that kills doesn't factor into points.

From what I've seen, the single-player blueprints just unlock alternate sub and super weapons for primary weapons.

Like I have a Jr. with the standard grenade and barrier, but in single-player I got a blueprint for a Jr. with a different type of grenade and the locator super.
