Blarney was cool enough to rip some images from the rulebook for units. Some background eraser and scaling later, I think we have some workable icons.

Would these outlines on the map be clear enough for everyone?

Clarification: the samurai with the sword held out front is a swordsman. The one with the sword over his head it a ronin. To clear that up the ronin will be made grey like the game pieces.

I have to get to sleep right now though, so I won't be able to update the map until tomorrow night. Feel free to place daimyos in the meantime. Starting daimyo armies are 1 daimyo, 1 swordsman, 1 bowman, 2 gunners. Remember that daimyos cannot be attacked or assassinated in the first turn.
