XBox360: Is DLC shared?

I've never gone on live with my 360 yet but if I do and get some downloadable stuff, say for like Oblivion or Marvel Ultimate Alliance, is it shared between all the profiles on my 360? Or can just the profile I signed onto Live and bought it with use it?

    Somewhat complicated. Works like this:

Content you download on your 360 is linked to your 360 and anybody on THAT console can use that content.

But if you...say, take your HDD to a friend's house or whatever, then the content is limited to the gamertag that bought the stuff.

Because of the shit this caused when consoles broke down and replacements came and only the gamertag that bought it could use Arcade games on the machine, this will change with the Spring Update. We're not sure how, but supposedly it changes it to make shit easier.

Sorry to Hijack this thread, but I was just thinking..

with detachable "portable" hard drives and the 120GB HDD coming out, Do you think its feasable that Microsoft will allow said hard drive to attach to the XBOX 720 (next-gen or whatever) to transfer saves, complete 360 Backwards compatibility, and DLC. I know its reeeeaallly early to start speculation on a next-gen XBOX, but I just wanted to put that thought out there. Seems like a good idea.
