I found the superior tier diagrams in a random ass cave
but I don't have the base equipment
Skellige, for starters. Begin at the town in the middle of the southern edge of the biggest island. Go east to a burned out building and a bunch of harpies. Explore the basement of the burned out building. That should get you started.
Yeah, you can just run into the chests containing the armor diagrams without having the quest. I stumbled upon a couple of the Griffin pieces that way.
I just got the bear armor quest, so that's what I'll be doing all morning on Saturday.
Wyborn That other succubus you were looking for is in the Contract: Deadly Delights in Novigrad. It starts out where a guard is looking for what burned a bunch of guards.
Also, the way this game handles sex is pretty interesting
Man
There are some people on this forum I would love to talk to about these games (Wild Hunt in particular) because I think they'd enjoy a lot of the same parts I do, but it involves a big time investment and dealing with elements they might not be willing to brush off like me or the wife can
Kind of a bummer that I can't recommend this game to some people that I think would really love it
A Year is a long amount of time. It's three hundred and sixty five days! The next time you think "I'm going to make this story mention an act that took place twenty years ago, please consider how ridiculous that's going to make someone coming along and doing some detective work around that act. Are you actually supposing that in twenty years nothing would be disturbed, and wooden structures would not be completely destroyed?
Or maybe don't have your contact, who appears to be not a day over twenty, talk about how the woman involved was her dearest friend but then her husband moved them out of town. Making her possibly a Highlander. Meanwhile, your older contact has no idea who the woman is or the circumstances of her death. In a village of roughly ten people. Because it doesn't make any sense!

Fantasy and Sci Fi are both very, very bad about this

Is there a list of missions to do before doing Triss's last mission and she becomes unavailable? I know there are statues you can get and show her but I can't remember where I got them.

I think the entire griffin armor upgrade set is in a single chest. I got them early because the boss guarding them was too slow to stop me from just going around it and looting it's horde.

Not a huge spoiler, just concerning character availability:
Triss will become available again for completing those statue quests at a later point in the game.
The sidequests in this game have had so much substance and advance so many characters that I have to wonder how much emptier this game would feel if someone just did the main story and nothing else
+3

Don't have tech cause magic users oppresses that masses.

It's in skellige. Go around to various armorsmiths and blacksmiths and check to see if they have maps to sell.
I haven't even gone to the northern part of velen
Why was this thing out here?

"The Kingdom of whatever lasted for 10,000 year"
10 THOUSAND YEARS?! Holy shit!

My Steam
Realism need not apply for jobs in fantasy or sci fi
This doesnt mean writing ability need not apply
don't need tech when you got magic!
alternatively, of course you need tech if there's magic
Like what FFX did.
Sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology.
CDPR has this weird thing where parts of the game are way way harder at the beginning, I'm not sure why
Steam
if its annoying early game and meaningless after that then ???

Efficiency be damned, I'm wearing Cat boots, gloves, and pants, but Ursine chest. Gotta witch in style.
