i7 960. Honestly, I could push the overclock more if I really wanted to, but it was my first overclock so I wanted to go for an easily obtainable goal. Also, probably should've overclocked it sooner, had this thing for 7 years >.<
I haven't run the P yet. Need to give it a go. But I like that build I posted. I don't have an xl325, but I do have a 320 and 330. I'll shoe horn one in somehow. But I hate XLs on hoppers.

So, I've been gone for over a year. Clan mechs were only just coming out. I got very frustrated by the grind in particular, and by a feeling of power creep that I couldn't keep up with. I didn't have the money to dump into the game to feel like I could stay competitive (not that I was any good).
It doesn't help that I'm a little bottlenecked in the graphics department (i5 4430, 8gb ram, Radeon 6770) keeps me at low/medium.
...But, it calls to me from time to time, and my kiddo is now laser focused on my loading it back up. So, as I'm downloading 7 gigs of new data...how are things these days?

Get a clan mech. Bunch of em on sale this weekend. Sell what you don't want/need to get one. (Specifically a Timberwolf, Stormcrow, Direwolf or Arctic Cheetah)
Otherwise get a Thunderbolt 5SS and load it down with a standard 300, a shitload of MPL and all the DHS yu can carry.
Quirks are a thing, ECM is still OP, clans still have an edge and the UI is nice now.
I think today proved my theory that I am just a horrible player.
I'm okay in my own skill bracket, but when I get invited to a group I get drug up out of my cesspit into the world of light and I only cower and get burned as a result.

I have a habit of
a) finding myself isolated
b) finding myself the only guy trying to hold the line against the entire enemy team or finding the bunch of guys who were backing me have all gone off in another direction
c) try to aggressively to follow a 'wounded' mech only to wind up again against the whole team
I'm not that good. But we were getting our teeth get kicked in earlier today. The screenshot I posted above was a good representation of he mismatches we had. We're were outclassed just on weight alone.

This really wouldn't be the worst thing. Minus not having the cave, for if it is gone, we will observe a week of mourning with daily libations.
Truth be told, I'll be mourning with a week of daily libations regardless, so y'know, two shots one shotglass.
I only got halfway before returning to work. The spot where it would have been there was an open area. Also the two concrete water tunnels now make sense since it is some makeshift water crossing for wheeled vehicles.
