Josh Gad was one of the original leads for Book of Mormon, so that's where I first heard of him

Josh Gad is also in Frozen, so basically everyone has seen him in something by default

    his bits were not good

I have no idea why I saw that in theaters

    I like Kevin James.

Kevin James seems like the only one of the Sandler regulars that doesn't have contempt for his audience

He seems like the kind of dude that if you saw him on the street tomorrow he'd still shake your hand and wish you a nice day

I'm not a huge Kevin James fan, but I will say that I went and saw a taping of King of Queens and he was super friendly with the audience, generally really friendly and easygoing, and he stuck around after the taping until everyone who wanted an autograph got one.

So yeah, I definitely get the feeling he's probably a really nice, cool guy.

    Jason Statham was hilarious.

    I fucking made it, didn't I?

I think my favourite part was
near the end, when Susan's character arc is all but over, she's saved everyone's lives and basically has nothing left to prove anymore

basically, all that's left is the almost perfunctory task of stopping the bad guy from flying away in the chopper which you know she's gonna pull off because she's hypercompetent

and Jason Statham just comes bolting out of the house going

"You're gonna fuck this up, Cooper!"

    I laughed so hard

otherwise, his stuff has left me cold, but that alone puts him above Rob Schneider at least

I wish Party Down didn't leave Netflix

I probably would've watched the series so many times by now

As it stands I've only seen it twice, like a commoner

It was early 2008, so it would've been my freshman year of college still

I either saw it because I was desperately trying to make friends with the people in my dorm

Or I saw it with my friend Sarah, who lived near the school and I hung out with a lot after that first thing failed

She and I went to the movies an awful lot

Kevin James is a great comedian.

But stand-up comedy and comedic film acting are two very different beasts.

I'm not convinced Adam Sandler is actually trying. He just wants to make movies for his kids with his friends whom aren't complaining because everyone still gets paid regardless.

The only thing about Pixels that is upsetting for me (because I'm not remotely surprised that it sucks) is Peter Dinklage getting sullied by it.

I absolutely lost it when he first showed up. He was so good at every moment, I love when directors let him run loose outside of his typecast.

I believe the most recent good Adam Sandler movie was Reign Over Me

which was about a 9/11 widower and bromance, and made two hundred thousand dollars

a year later, don't mess with the zohan made a hundred million

    incidentally, fuck everything forever

reign over me is the only good 9/11 movie that has been made in my opinon.

and the reason it is so good is that adam sandler did not write or direct it, he merely performed in it.

united 93 is really, really, really good

it's also one of the more devastating movies I've ever seen

Click is one of my mom's favorite movies. It is the only Adam Sandler movie she has ever seen.

Meanwhile, I keep making references to the more obscure parts of Billy Madison. Like telling people it could be our milk, or singing, "Do you have any more gum?" Chris Farley and Steve Buschemi were also super great in Billy Madison, for what it's worth. Even Norm MacDonald's dumb character was fine.

I read a story where some kid came up to Adam Sandler while he was filming a movie and gave him a shirt for the charity he was a part of. The very next day, someone snagged a photo of him wearing that shirt cruising around Hollywood on his bike. And you hear all kinds of stories like this when you talk to people who have met him.

Also he is super charming and endearing in interviews.

I remember seeing Bridge to Terabithia when it came to DVD, I was in my late 20's. I had never heard of the book before, so all I knew of what to expect came from that trailer.

Yeah, I felt pretty misled. A good movie, but not what I had thought I was signing on for.

    My ranking of those people

    Chris Rock
    Adam Sandler
    David Spade
    Kevin James
    Josh Gad
    Rob Schneider

Mind you, I'm not even 100% sure who Josh Gad is

Well his own material has made fun of the audience of those movies (as well as himself)
