My wife's a big fan of the flux games, and Chrononauts. We've got:
- a fair few variations of Flux (Wizard of Oz, Pirate, Monty Python)
- Chrononauts
- The expansions for chrononauts
- The Back to the Future game that's remarkably similar to chrononauts.
We've played them to death now, and whilst we still enjoy them it'd be good to get something new in. We want something entirely card game based as we take them on holiday, so we can't go dragging board games about (though we do enjoy board games at home). Also needs to be playable with just two people and not horrendously complex.
I'm a complete newbie to "Critical Failures" so please be nice

And Love Letter is fun with two.
Citadels is a light city building game where you choose from a limited set of roles each turn. I've heard it's great with two players; I've only played with six or seven.
