My point is that Ubisoft is going to put far less thought into how they depict and describe paleolithic peoples than you guys are

I am going to guess. It is a far cry game from Ubisoft, it is going to be a game where you are either out for revenge/protecting your tribe. You will kill animals and people with stone age weapons. It is a video game. Things you can for sure not expect: realistic depictions of ancient culture and whatnot.
