    Out of everyone in the NCAA, Schlissel is far and away the most qualified to make the decision and he says no football.

    I mean we should be no nothing stay the fuck home instead of reduced in person, but reality is what it is.

    I'm good with no Michigan football this year and if Harbaugh wants to put his money where his mouth is...worst case still won't be Hoke bad.

    It really sounds like Orgeron wanted them all test positive early since they’re not retested for 90 days after a positive, which means they wouldn’t have to miss games

    Like....it seems like he was admitting they turned the beginning of their camp into a covidpox party

    And this is my problem with this, and some sports going on in general.

    One, it's deadly. It can fucking kill you.

    And two, we don't know the long term effects from having it. There's been reports that there could be long term effects even if you get over it.

    For all we know this thing is cutting years off people's lives even if they recover. And these kids are only playing for a scholarship, and some have no choice. In the nfl you can opt out and get paid. What happens to a kid who is scared to at in college?

    I bet they lose their scholarship. Which is outright bullshit.

    Virginia Tech "postponed" the home opener against Virginia because of a spike in cases on the Blacksburg campus. I'm not confident there will be any games played at all.

    Based on the timing of things, they have 8 weeks before the Championship game on the 12/19, then the CFP is announced on the 12/20. So I'm guessing if they go with divisional play, that's six games to play everybody in the division then two from the other division to determine the Division champs. Otherwise, it will be like the Big 12 and ACC this year and everyone is in the same bucket and the top 2 teams play in the championship.

    In an emailed statement, FSU head football coach Mike Norvell discloses he has tested positive for COVID in the most recent round of testing. Plans to be involved remotely as much as possible. Deputy head coach Chris Thomsen will handle in person coaching.

    ND and Wake Forest rescheduled their game that was supposed to happen this Sat for Dec 12th. This, after ND had another 4 positive cases on the team and had to cancel Tuesday's practices.
