Sonic 06 is with the Original the Character Do Not Steal fight where he just throws you with his mind and you take damage but he keeps throwing you into your rings so you can't hurt him and you can't die and are stuck in an existential nightmare.
it's no use
The moment when the Grumps discover you can do this fight from the other side is my second favorite thing they've ever done
What's your favorite?
Knuckles trapping them in a glitch nightmare that breaks Arin's spirit?
Accelerating uphill with a snowboard faster than going downhill?
Mickey Mouse with a discount AVGN voice?
The end of Battle Kid?
Something else?

Wheel of Fortune. Full stop.
Oh dammit, I forgot about Wheel of Fortune. That was amazing.
That feels too mean to hit "Agree" on, because I really like Jon in all his solo material, but I love Danny on GG and I prefer his dynamic with Arin over Jon's.
I definitely disagree here--while I haven't watched as much of the stuff with Danny most of it was plagued by me not knowing which one was which. They sound too similar and have too similar a sense of humor, which at least for the casual listener (I mostly had them on in the background while playing games myself) made their dynamic way less interesting.
Although I probably have a lot of opinion differences from this thread since I hated all the sonic games I played when I picked up mega collection plus for the PS2. Boss fights felt really bad and then I would hit the water level and nope out of there. Should probably try out freedom planet to see if I like it any better, I probably got it from a bundle at some point

Their voices are pretty easy to tell apart if you've listened to them a bit. Maybe try watching some of the Game Grumps animated stuff, or even some of their live recordings on Grump Out to help associate faces with the voices? Or, I mean, if you just aren't interested in them at all, that's cool too. No reason you have to try to like them.

Eh, I probably will at some point. Especially if Jon really is going to be putting out content regularly again I can listen to them without the normal clinical sadness of a lack of Jon content
Plus I can realistically only listen to NorthernLion so much before getting cabin fever, I should vary that up some more

You could also try some of the old Steam Train videos with Danny and Ross. They're easier to tell apart and have rather different personalities, so that can help you get a better feel for Danny. Pretty much any of their King's Quest or other Sierra game videos are all great.
When it first came out, I thought that Sonic Advance was a terrible rehash of Sonic 3. I now suspect that it is competent but uninspired, and I wish that the other Advance games hadn't deviated in level design philosophy as much as they did.
I remember generations and racing transformed both hitting steam at about the same time and, for one shining moment, thinking life might actually worth living
If self-aware Twitters are the next step in video game advertisement, I'm down with it. Vastly more entertaining than secret paid promotions through GameSpot or whatever.

Besides CD, have you played Sonic Advance yet? It's almost surprisingly good.
It came out a while back for Wii U VC in Japan, and I hope it does the same here.
Were.

I played Sonic, Sonic 2, and Sonic 3, Yes.
And you weren't.
That would require there to be some.
I guess... does Freedom Planet count?
Truly the Sonic we deserved.
"Sonic Bioware game with Elite Beat Agents rhythm combat" could have been so good
Sonic Colors was 2010. Sonic Generations was 2011. That's not even three years.
