I listened to the latest Black Tapes episode the day it came out, but I guess I forgot to talk about it, here? Anyways...I don't think that show is ever going to be high art, but I really do appreciate that in its second season, it has turned its attention to how the events of the show, and their investigations, are actually affecting the people involved. Doing a spooky case every episode, while stringing some connective tissue between them, that was fine, but it was definitely losing effectiveness as it went. Turning its focus inward, and having it affect the investigations and how they're being reported has really breathed some new life into the show.
In related news, I've largely given up on Tanis. The central mystery isn't compelling, and I really don't like the main character. And it's...really bad at moving the plot in a way that flows naturally. Virtually every conversation is: "stop investigating this. you're making it worse" "oh but I don't wanna" "okay well something bad might happen to you!" and then a follow up conversation "hey have you stopped investigating yet" "no" "okay well now I'm going to tell you everything, I guess, and be a recurring guest on your apparently popular radio show, but I'm still going to tell you to stop investigating" "well I'm not gonna" "okay fair enough"
I don't remember if @Speed Racer or @OmnipotentBagel hadn't seen the episodes of Superman the Animated Series with Mr Recurring Mention on TWA, but they have that series on Amazon Prime streaming video
Golf, but your caddie is a girl from the future who needs you to knock dimensional shards into rifts to seal them as you can't touch the shards with your bare hands. You are a young inventor boy that can take photos of things and invent new golf clubs
add a dungeon crawling minigame and some sort of fishing system on the side

Golf but there's no ball and your club shoots small projectiles. Also the other golfers are aliens and you have to hit them all with those projectiles. Also the course takes place on an alien planet and you have to wear an armored space suit.

make the dungeon crawling part also be roguelike
Well I mean the dungeons will randomly generate, but there's no permadeath and it's not especially hard

what if you had some sort of town building side thing to fill the time between holes of interdimensional golf
I've taken in too much Giant Bomb. I was looking through games I kind of dropped off of without finishing or making much progress, so I decided to play Roundabout.
Recognized Eric Pope in a cameo because those damn side burns.

Goldar totally sells weed on the side.
It's probably why the putties suck so much in fights.
I stand corrected

Ask turtle questions now or lament being too late!
That includes if you got any requests for individual episodes you'd like us to cover. No reason we can't keep this going after the five parter.

God, there's been some magical moments since this one, but it's still one of the highlights of the show.
