    Was that game in Critical Failures? SE++ games and such get huge really fast but I don't think they represented core player base.

    You better believe it was a CF game, bucko.

    Edit: I do see your point. Yes, a 120-player game is large even for back then. And of course many of the people who played in it weren't regulars.

    Edit 2: I would say there was a core player-base of around 60-70 people back then as opposed to the 30-40 I would call regular players nowadays.
