I applaud Jebus's ability to withstand European club music

Truly a feat of personal constitution.

and I wonder about my neighbors even though I don't have them

Once when I was in Hong Kong I was at a restaurant and asked if they had any Dr Pepper. They did not. But they had just recently gotten this new drink called Mountain Dew and would I like to try it?

    No. No thank you.

"were you sleeping? I'm so sorry?"

"SNORT snore no I'm awake really"

    Smooth, me!

He never even says what he lied about when he was 17. Just that one time, at an age that conveniently happens to sort-of rhyme with the previous line, he told a lie, and so therefore he's always getting rained on.

When he was 17 he lied that it was always raining on him.

Yeah I'd normally be editing something in Premiere right now but I've not recorded anything this week because of illness, so right now I'm kind of lost without that to do. I have cleaned up a whiteboard that I can use for planning purposes though, so that feels like I've done something! I'd also really love a second coffee but my body is just not happy with that idea.

Yes. Can you go lie in California now? They could really use it.

Just assume you did and they did not notice or care is the easier and safer way to think about it
Than dwelling on if you hope you didn't

I am sure you were fine! Besides, people always hang up on one thing that might have been odd, but people say odd stuff all the time. Chances are even if you did, they probably don't even remember.

People say stupid things all the time. A continual stream of stupid comes out of my mouth, don't worry about it!

Maaaan, I've had this low-level anxiety all morning and it's the worst. And there isn't really a specific source of it that I can pinpoint. Maybe I'm just hitting my cap of things-I-am-stressing-about-but-can't-control? I don't know!

Maybe I ought to go punch stuff at the gym this afternoon. All else fails I did agree to go drinking at a friend's house this evening, and alcohol solves everything, right??

Sadly, it doesn't. But spending time with friends does! I'd say that distracting yourself with some activity and then seeing people is a good idea!

I've been having the same kinda thing most mornings this week, but going to the gym by about 11-12 seemed to fix it up pretty well each time, so I vote for punching things!

Punching stuff at the gym is what I tend to do when I'm anxious and I can't pin down why

    Pretend you're Asuka

  • CelloCello Registered User regular
Thanks, guys! I think I've got it under control now for the most part. Just gonna keep myself busy all day and hope for the best!

The last time I tried to be Asuka I uh, punched bags with just handwraps because it was more fun than using gloves. And it was fun. But having cuts across my knuckles for a week was irritating. Maybe I'll pretend to be a boxer this time instead?
