Fellow intrepid readers, or I guess Katie or Adam if they want to respond, was Seventeen speaking gibberish in http://campcomic.com/comic/23 or was it actual words?
I only ask because the twins' spoke in wingding, so maybe Seventeen did, too?
Don't worry, Brian, acupuncture doesn't actually work, so the worst that can happen is that you get an infection from dirty pine needles being stuck into your body! It's not like infections are lethal this far from civilization and first aid or anything.
"We do not allow wizards to cast spells in our game, for that is the most unbalanced rule of all."
@Jachra Actually, we are trained in military medicine in an acupuncture technique called "Battlefield Acupuncture," developed by the Army and the Air Force (no shit), and the study I was taught showed it was more effective for chronic pain than standard pain medications (which only had a 50-60 percent relief rate). So some acupuncture DOES work.
It also has side effects, like fainting, weird feelings of euphoria, and you can't exercise too hard or drink alcohol for the day after. But it works.
And Briguy: Don't know what the graphics in Seventeen's monsterspeak meant, but I did notice a Deathly Hallows symbol in the mix.
Cool. I don't know how I missed that!
I wonder if any of the other symbols are references to things.
The first one kind of reminds me of a stylized Bill Cypher, but I'm pretty sure the comic predates his appearance.

Poor Brian. Such a good guy.
Edit: Oh! Another KS cat? So pretty.
It is the appropriate reaction to having needles shoved into you on the other hand.
