Are you going to paint the under-side? Seems like they probably did that in your reference picture.

Surely at some point people would start writing rules to include "No Dogs".

Nope, that's just an ink wash and then drybrushing on top.

    Great question over on NeoGAF
Can you remember the first game you bought with your own money?

Theme park on the Mega Drive.

    Now Playing:
Celeste [Switch] - She'll be wrestling with inner demons when she comes...

It's pretty amazing with all these new painting techniques that just didn't exist when I got into the hobby in the 90s.

The fanciest thing that existed for model painting was inks - translucent paints that tinted the whole surface. I don't think anyone even did drybrushing back then.

I have often wondered if being asexual would make me more productive (since I wouldn't be thinking of sex all the time) or less (since 99 percent of what I do is for sex.)

I mean, I don't think I would have made it to the end of mass effect for sure.

Bumble has taught me one unassailable truth.

Women are terrible at openers in online dating.

Just an endless parade of "Hi" or "Hey :)". What's the deal lads, how do they keep getting away with it.

Speaking of newfangled stuff, GW is making a new range of "tint" paints.

What separates them from the glazes and the shades and the washes I have no idea.

omg there is now an element called Nihonium

Echo these models are plastic of some kind right?

Like going from my memory of how friend's GW models came out of the box I was wondering if you go over them with sandpaper and scalpel, since they look so smooth. No "molding-beard" and stuff like that.

A few are resin, the rest are plastic. I don't think GW does metal minis any longer.

Their CAD modelling makes for really excellent models, no flash to speak of and at worst I just scrape a bit with a scalpel to get rid of the mold lines.
