Shep Smith continues to be The Only Sane Man on Bullshit Mountain.
I continue to be completely baffled by his existence.
From what I understand, he is conservative (Old Miss grad, remember), but he's also a serious journalist who takes his profession seriously.
I may not always agree with Shep, but I respect him, and I trust that he will report accurately, if with a conservative bent (and to be fair, that alone is a good reason why he should be in your rotation, liberal or conservative.)
If he's actually a conservative, he's the type of conservative I wish was actually around in government instead of just on the news.
There's still value to having an opposing view point so long as said view point is willing to actually work with the other side on things.
people always say this but conservatives are wrong about literally everything soooooooooo
They're wrong, but it's good to keep the left somewhat in check so we don't go so far off the deep end that we become the Green Party or full blown communist.

that's not a real problem
if every Republican disappeared off the face of the earth tomorrow, the democratic party would be the new right, fighting against capital gains taxes, automobile divestment, and public broadband utilities

And enter the ND National Guard!
Maybe they're being sent to guard and protect the sites that are being destroyed?
I know, they're not...

He makes like 8 million dollars a year.

And that isn't really how it works, but it's a temptation i understand

Shep is one of the good ones. I really wish he'd be hired by a competing network to be their "token conservative" or some such.

Sounds like something a Fascist would say.
Not a legit poll. No Larlar option.
His face when he says "I have no idea how that happened but it won't happen again" is priceless.
Have you considered 'turdharbour'?

Locally baked sourdough with havarti and white cheddar, tomato, red onion, and cracked pepper.
So fucking good.
Grilled cheese 2024! Grilled cheese for SCOTUS!
So you are on the side of those who consider that a grilled cheese sandwich and not a melt. A very controversial position to take.
This is a panini without meat
Not a grilled cheese
Havarti! Wtf is that shit?
(That looks delicious by the way)
I would vote sandwich
I mean that an actual slab of ham on bread would be a preferable choice to Donald trump for the office of president of the united states
all hail President B. Forest Ham
a Panini isn't made out of sliced bread
Onion is questionable, but I'm willing to let it slide. You're walking a fine line though Quid.

gimme a little breads sandwich!
I don't mind them when they're well integrated into something, and I like the taste, but the texture just grosses me all the way out.
I'm not sure Quid's a pro anything, much less a quo.
Also, how is a panini not made with sliced bread?
Gotta get the stuff in there somehow
a roll/loaf that is cut in half lengthwise is not sliced bread
Ketchup and salsa are alright, oddly enough.
I get what you mean. But that could be described as having been sliced open. Hence the confusion.
