I got a play of the game once, before I picked up the challenge of course. It was just me randomly shooting a guy. So who the hell knows, it seems very arbitrary. They should have just left it as the final kill, if this is what they replaced it with.
Another update just dropped, and with it the 103924 error again, womp womp.

Yea I got blocked out of unlocking/customizing anything for like an hour earlier today because it just hung on the scoreboard until the next match started every time
Boy this is some broken-ass multiplayer. Can't exit a lobby post-game, either have wait for the next match to start or exit the game entirely.
And is it just me or do LMGs completely and utterly suck?
And can someone please design a MP game where it throws all new people together and not have my team of people under rank 10 face off against a pre-made all over 30?

The beta was more or less perfect compared to this shit... more like BAIT-A am I right?
lol they fixed everything though... they added a QUEUE. So now, you get to wait in a queue for like 5 minutes just to get the connection error after a 5 minute loading screen after making it through queue. We 2017 b o y e s.
That can't be right, there's no way you would have time to do a 1v1 or whatever of you can only enter it while you're in a lobby. When I watch people streaming the game they pop in and a bunch of people are standing around in there. I'm guessing it's just broken ATM.
Maybe? I don't know how it's meant to work. I've never seen anyone else while not in a lobby, and I see other people while in a lobby, if I go to the HQ for some reason. Which I pretty much did just to do that commendation step.
I haven't been able to connect to multiplayer at all for like 3 hours. I did get in and do a solid zombies run at one point, but then I got kicked out of that too.
Lost at least 3/4 supply drops now. Game says I earned them in post-game screen and nada. GJ. Goddamn this is heinous.

I've been able to get online, but my headquarters are empty, I can't interact with have the stations, and supply drops won't open. Here's hoping it's fixed by Tuesday.

Empty HQ is intentional. It's to actually not cause the game to crash every end of game. The supply drops are bugged and Sledgehammer is acting like we don't know when something is supposed to be there. Fuck these developers and Activision.

Intentional as a band-aid? My physical Xbox One copy arrived a day before launch, and the servers were live. The HQ was dense with people when I logged on and exited matches. It was pretty cool. Now they're completely fucked and joining a friend's HQ works only half the time.
I did like the few matches I played, though. It's nice going back to more simplified mechanics. The Garand is life.

Speaking of errors, aside from day one, my four hours of double xp are not activating. I know I only get one hour a day, but ive been playing since Friday and only one hour was used.

How can a franchise and company as huge as COD and Activision f a launch up this bad? I'm not a super COD fan or anything, but I was excited to get back into a WW2 game. Apparently billions of dollars doesn't mean you'll have your shit together come launch.

Turns out winning a single Domination match is difficult with all pubbies. Top score of the lobby first game, still couldn't hold 2 points. Second game I was second place on my team, and only had 4 kills (all my points were capturing points and shooting down planes).
But had some fun last night with a group going! And Mech Wolf and I goofed around on the shooting range to try and find the secret patterns. He found one, and we thought we'd discovered a second one but it didn't seem to give us any notification when we completed what we were trying.
The game is great fun but all the server issues and hit detection is disheartening. Getting four hit markers in the chest, but seeing only one shot register on the kill cam suuuuucks.

Also, Mech and I were both working on getting our Bazooka/Panzershrek calling cards. So every time an enemy plane came out it was a race to see who could hit it first. You need to get 100 scorestreak kills with each weapon for the calling card.

The snowy one with the tanks is pretty good solo. The D-day one is just horrendous with randos... On the Allies side, I was the only one on the team to even move up and make it to a bunker. Everyone else was sniping. Haven't tried the mission from the beta yet, but I never won that one on the Allies side during the beta.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

So it sounds like waiting a bit and seeing how things shake out isn’t a bad idea.
Yeah, I mean campaign works fine. Maybe zombies is ok? I only played the prologue so I can't really comment on that. But at the same time this is call of duty and activision. It's not like you're going to save any money by waiting unless you're willing to wait a long time.

Is there a trick to shooting planes with the bazooka?

But really, recon planes are the easiest. It's just a matter of judging how far you have to lead the plane on your shot. Sometimes the planes fly pretty low and you don't have to lead much.
In general your shots fly pretty straight, so it's all down to your targeting.
We've also both shot multiple times at the big planes that fly over for care packages or whatever, but have yet to actually hit one. We'll get there one day, though!

So apparently you should hold off on working on any orders. I earned a drop earlier and tried to open it and got an error message. Just logged back in to find nothing new and my drop now missing, so that's fantastic. Wasn't planning on buying any drops for this, but I can't even imagine how pissed off people would be buying these things and then losing them.

Yea I was afraid that was the answer lol. Definitely makes uavs a lot better since you can't drop them immediately every time.
In the beta recon planes were super easy to drop with just your rifle or a LMG. They're way tougher now bit you could probably still get them with FMJ.
Also it seems like the pc is more stable than consoles right now? Usually getting cod on pc instead of a console is the wrong choice but it seems to have worked out fine so far for me.

I mean they're basically loot boxes. I'd be surprised if you couldn't buy them, but maybe you're right. I just assumed you could? Maybe they call them something else when you buy them.
I don't think the pay stuff is live yet? Probably you will be able to buy supply drops but I don't think you can yet.
Also man I'm having a hard time getting into games, but at least I can actually connect now so that's a positive step? Like I'll sit at the matchmaking screen and it will just never connect to anything, or I'll get into a lobby with 4 ppl and no more will get connected in ever.
Edit: oh now it's back to just not letting me connect at all. Great!
