So, i saw that Ashes of Singularity was on sale and wondered if it was any good. I've got that itch to play some real time strategy and wondered what the current "in" games are. I really enjoyed Grey Goo last year and i'm staring at Ashes or that Homeworld sequel Deserts of Kharak as well. One is obviously priced a little nicer for taking a risk but i'd love some feedback.

Help me choose, or is there another game i should be playing?

Deserts of Kharak is a fun ride. It's not super deep with the basic rock paper scissors strategy, but goddamn is it BEAUTIFUL, and tells a neat story. If you're a Homeworld fan I would strongly recommend it. Also get the Homeworld remastered collection as well if you haven't. They are still amazing games.
