And ignored intelligence that confirmed what they were saying was a baldfaced lie.

It's up there with Riker losing the Enterprise-D.

Fine, continue to complain why a battle between two rinky-dink gunboats doesn't look like a battle between submarines.

    Come to think of Battletoasters...
There was a short video (?) of attacking toasters set to Ride of the Valkyries eons ago on the internet.

Anyone remember what it was called?

@Abdhyius researched - artist is named Watanuki Yoshiko. That particular piece is from a collection she did which I can find zero online availability for.

I didn't finish the first episode of the expanse, I should maybe get back into that

I watched a space battle scene from it though. It was titled something like best sci fi space battle ever and weeeeeeeeeeeell

like cool beans with the movement being based on reality and all but it was pretty weird

it was, essentially, two large empty barns, flying about, with a few people sitting inside each one, firing machineguns wildly at the other barn, trying to hit the people inside, but for the most part just pointlessly making holes.

I quit on the 8th episode when it was airing, I disliked all of the cast.

Now that I started up again I like it, and I don't dislike the cast that much anymore. Tom Jane ditched the dumb fucking fedora which helped me not actively hate his character.

The acting is universally appalling in it, which makes me think it has to have been bad directing

That scene in WoK where the Enterprise first meets the Reliant is fantastic and honestly complaining that Kirk was a moron washes right over me. Kirk doesn't go to red alert like Savik wants him to and the script knows this is slightly irregular and underlines that Starfleet rules agree with Savik. The Reliant gets more suspicious as it approaches but it's not like every other time Kirk approaches a Federation starship he goes to battle stations if he doesn't get clear comms instantly.

He gets caught with his britches down, and knows it, but I'm not going to slap a label of 'moron' on him. Overly confident, perhaps. Not suspicious enough.

Just to clarify I do think Wrath of Khan is excellent and I the scene works with Kirk's arc of questioning whether he's still worthy of the chair, it's just the coil emission BS raised too big a red flag.

Wish the bullet physics in Wildlands was better. Also, zeroing on scopes. Sometimes I aim like 45 degrees above the target and have the bullet land in front of their feet.

30 minute train ride was about 20% of the switch's battery life.

huh. This thing really is a lightweight when it comes to longevity.

Me doing 4 hour login mobile gaming sessions is highly unlikely, but I will have to stay on top of keeping this thing charged.

Guys I am starting to worry, I don't think I can possibly finish Breath of the Wild before Mass Effect comes out. There are just too many nooks, too many crannies, and I can't stop myself from crawling over every inch of them.

I played like six hours of the demo and never realized that there were bullet physics. I wish games would just tell you outright if weapons aren't hitscan or have bullet drop.

If you get lucky there's a Christmas sticker under the easter sticker. It's seasonal to those holidays (which now means like a month prior and after).
