Oh, and Jet Blue has the worst chances of any airline to be involuntarily denied boarding. But they don't overbook! Overbooking is the least likely reason you'll be denied boarding. Equipment changes are the most likely. And with Jet Blue in the middle of changing their fleet up, they have a fuck ton of equipment changes. So your odds of being denied entry still are highest with Jet Blue.

It would legitimately be preferable for me if airlines were just honest about how they were going to fuck you, rather than construct these complex elaborate systems in which people may or may not actually get seats on the plane for which they purchased a ticket, depending on if wind was blowing from the southwest or the westsouthwest or the southsouthwest and what the daily UV index was and also how many times the captain brushed his incisors 3 days ago.

But instead, you're like the fucking enemy because you want to get on their damn plane!

You can thank the modern agentless ticketing regime for this. Most people only look for the lowest price, and to actually get the lowest price involves a lot of inside baseball. The good airlines are generally good. I haven't had a problem with Virgin yet in over a dozen flights. I wouldn't necessarily care about using it or Southwest to fly to Vegas if I was closer to Ontario or something.

Yea. JetBlue's stock went way down once Virgin and Alaskan merged.

I mean, it was a trans-Pacific flight. It's not like there were 7 airlines running this particular (direct) route.

    i will look into borne

I kinda wanna get a decent guitar because the Rock Band 3 strat I have is definitely on the trash side of the spectrum

But the one I was looking at (Epiphone Riviera Custom P93) is like $550 and I hardly play these days

But a big part of the reason I hardly play these days is the RB3 strat kinda sucks to learn on

    hrm

I picked up a lesser epiphone with Rocksmitht off Amazon for <$120

That and a really poor adoption of the Ryanair/Easyjet model of discount airlines. Ryanair loves fees. But that's more okay when you compare them to BA and see their fares are half of BAs quite often. But Spirit isn't. Neither is Frontier. And they do a kind of shit job of replicating Ryanair. That's an airline that is happy to sell adspace on any inside surface of the plane. And I suspect if they thought someone would buy it, they'd sell ad space on the outside.

my secondary school crush told me she ended up with a crush on me back then as well

which was hilarious because jesus, teenagers are just so bad at things because I had no idea

it does explain why, at the christmas ball when I asked her to dance and she said no because she had already said she'd dance with a friend, she then hid crying in the bathroom

it perplexed me at the time because I was like, even though I've been head over heels for you for three years, it's cool, that was a decent reason there's no cause for feeling that bad about it I mean I was thinking I'd ask again later but you were busy being weird in the bathroom

    Sort of.

There an "ignore" feature which stops Steam from showing it to you in queues and on the front page.

Eh, I really don't feel like being combative when somebody has some sort of legitimate feeling, especially when it was said after the fact via text. Maybe I'm passive or w/e, but who am I to judge something that's probably pretty deeply ingrained but overall minor? It was just surprising, is all.

    http://www.guitarcenter.com/Takamine/#/Takamine/G-Series-GD10-Dreadnought-Acoustic-Guitar.gc

takamine makes some great midrange guitars

I actually have an ok acoustic (300ish range) that a friend sold me for $80 because she was moving and just wanted to get rid of it

    Rocksmith doesn't do acoustics though

Or, well technically it does now but roommates, one of which is dropping a baby in November, so electric+headphones is my best bet

I feel like the logistical issues with big-group check splitting are very different from the societal issues of date check splitting, but yes, big groups are nightmares for keeping tabs on as a server with multiple checks (or worse, discontinuous groups of 2-3 people on the same check, which happens with dual family meetups).
