City pop is a genre of Japanese popular music that was popular in the 1980s and featured a “cosmopolitan” image that appealed to those who benefited from the so-called post-war “economic miracle,” an economic boom that took place in Japan between the end of World War II and the Cold War. City pop can sound like anything from soft, album-oriented rock to sophisticated boogie disco, yet the term is often used in a narrow sense in Japan. It’s an established genre, and city pop records have been compiled in many published guide books for collectors. Outside of Japan, city pop might be viewed as general 1980s Japanese music, and now that Japanese music has become trendy, city pop has begun to be uncovered and even reissued.
In the early 1980s, with the spread of car stereos, the term City Pop (シティーポップ Shitī Poppu) came to describe a type of popular music that had a big city theme. Tokyo in particular inspired many songs of this form. During this time, music fans and artists in Japan were influenced by album-oriented rock (especially Adult contemporary) and crossover (especially Jazz fusion)
Essentially a "mood" or "lifestyle" genre, its themes reflected a life of luxury in a sophisticated urban environment

Love is just a game
If I'm having fun, that's enough

They are my friends to ease loneliness

I'm also getting pretty good at accidentally completing goals I hadn't originally set out to complete >_>
Yeah, that's totally a thing - you aim for one goal and in the process hit a couple of others! Now that I only have seven unlocks left, though, I'm finding myself specifically needing to plan out one goal and, then, figuring out maybe an hour into a two hour era if I can wheedle in another goal. I started this game current game with a goal of getting the "1250 prosperity village and no war marks", but maybe if I play my cards right I can get the "village with high prosperity and only animals/minerals"

I still have 24 remaining, so it's much more common for me right now :P But yeah, I can see how some of the endgame ones will require a great deal of planning, and then with occasional luck you'll stumble on an opportunity to great another one instead. Reacting on the fly like that is a lot of fun, but can also be a lot to keep straight.
I'll spin around to a village and think, "Right, what was I doing over here again?", and click through everything to figure out what I must have been thinking :P

Well, most villages you'll end up finding that your biggest problem is balancing reaching their objectives with not letting them accumulate too much greed. Getting Hunt or Predator aspects available is usually one of my early-game goals since being able to keep your dudes from getting all bloodlusty is worth the price of admission. Awe is also good, but really only becomes important if you're in an environment or aiming for particular village objectives which would prevent you from laying down enough animals.
But yes, pausing all the time and figuring out where my giants need to be and what they need to be doing is part of the game's challenge!
kind of odd to realize that the Yogscast are a bigger (and apparently better organized) company than any of the ones I had programming jobs at prior to Microsoft

Still better than Train Simulator.
Patently incorrect, it's only my second chat in the past four to five weeks. It is my fourth chat in the last two months, however.
Interesting system
The three main Kentucky players in this year's draft have already been selected, so I'm basically done paying attention.
