I don't know where to put this thread-wise. MSNBC news host.

Sessions is mad, apparently, to the extent that he's threatening the freedom of the press once again. I'm guessing that Trump lashed out at Sessions about the leaked phone call stuff.

What the fuck? This is god damn horrifying.

It's also extremely unconstitutional to actually jail the press for something like that.
Not if one or two liberal justices retire soon it ain't

I don't even think most of the Conservative wing is ready to declare war on the Press.

Quick reminder that the press - by ignoring or downplaying Trump scandals, misrepresenting and amplifying Clinton's issues, and pushing the narrative of Trump and Clinton being equivalents in a horserace throughout 2016 - is one of the main reasons you have President Trump in the first place. They're getting what they deserve now, as far as I'm concerned. I won't shed a tear when the president they helped put into power throws them in prison.

Wow how very goosey of you

Thanks for saying that I and my coworkers deserve jail because people voted a certain way

    Really makes my day, y'know

They already have. Decades ago. That's what Fox News and their constant complaints about the MSM and liberal bias and gotcha journalism are. That's why you can't have a scientist or political expert on without pairing him with a right-wing lunatic who'll mindlessly spout propaganda and conspiracy theories that you have to present as equal to the facts. Not only did they declare war on the Press, they are winning.

Reminder that Trump gave South Carolina somewhere around 1% of what they needed for disaster relief.
Not to quibble over which part of the south he chose to piss on, but it was North Carolina. I know this because we were under a dozen feet of water that caused hundreds of sinkholes to open up, including a portion of the Interstate.

The man essentially fucked a Republican stronghold, who's state party's been at the forefront of voter suppression and gerrymandering tactics for the country, because reasons.

Because the senator from North Carolina is the chair of the intelligence commitee and didn't downplay the Russia stuff, essentially.

Except "the press" as a monolithic concept doesn't really correlate with individual reporters who are just doing their jobs?

For example, Farenthold would probably first in the brig.

And Murdoch would be the last.

This is an immensely shitty thing to say.

This thread is no longer on topic, and has run its course.

    Geth, close the thread.
