Anticipation. It's like Christmas morning waiting for your parents to get up.
C'mon Orlandeau OSB.
The sooner you accept Tyro OSB/30 into your heart, the healthier you will be.
Every time someone suggests I will get a dud roll I end up rolling like a lucksack.
Quick! Someone tell me I will roll terribly!
The true secret to good rolling is not knowing much about what you're rolling. The more you're questioning what something is the greater luck you hold.
yesssss jump start down! got both the reg 220 and the jump start for the first time this week
I AM A GOLDEN GOD
thanks a ton to whoever gave me the heads-up w.r.t. jump start difficulty being easier than the actual 220
Technically, the Jump Starts have higher stats and/or more aggressive AIs.
But starting with a completely full gauge is an absurd advantage.
Not also that this may or may not hold for Torment Jump Starts, which operate under their own set of rules. You don't need to deal with the trash, and you get the full gauges, but unlike event Jump Starts, they're significantly buffed. Usually, the best way to approach them are cheese strats abusing the fuck out of Cloud's USB and a party non-charge. Like so.
Still wasn't close. By the time Lightning was ready to kill things, her TGM was almost done. I think I might want to try Shantotto starting out with a full SB gauge, since Minfilia can have her SSB ready after two turns of Wrathing, compared to Shantotto who takes a bit longer.
I'm also wondering if two buffs isn't necessary with the Chain, and if another Lightning DPS would be better instead of Minfilia. Then I just need to acquire another Lightning DPS, since I have a feeling Seifer with Death by Committee won't cut muster.
Finally, it might be just that Lightning needs her Legend Dive to make this work, for the extra 1.5 turns at the start of the fight.

I understand what you're trying to do, but no Thundering Twinstrike just feels wrong, not only for Lightning but also for also running the lightning Chain.
so apparently imperils only increase damage taken by 20% per stack? if that's true and en-element effects increase soul break damage (matching elements) by ~80% and element ability damage by ~50%, is it not always necessary for me to form teams around elements i can imperil or is it still desirable?

Two hits means it caps super easily, and she should have enough SB meter to be SBing every turn. It probably takes a bit of getting used to it and tweaking; I just did a test run to get a benchmark.
It capping super easily might be the problem. With a lightning Chain going, the 4-hit command 1 from her BSB2 might do more damage. Might do to check how much it does. If it's more than 5000 per hit, it's outpacing Thudnering Twinstrike.

It is in no way necessary to have an Imperil to go with your En-Elements. They're a force multiplier more than a damage dealing option, even with 2-3 people hitting the element.
Sephiroth's Glove: Transience SSB (Dupe)
Sword of Paine: Sword Dance SSB (7 Earth/Wind hits and Hastega)
Fujin's Moon Ring: Into the Storm OSB (Massive wind magic hit)
A bit of a weak result. Fujin's OSB is neat, but I have nothing else for her, so it's gonna be hard to exploit without RWing Aerial Blast onto her, or something.
'twas free, though.

Now, should I combine my Sephrioth gloves, or keep two, for Dark-boosting purposes? My dark boost armor includes Gabranth's helm, Sephrioth's Glove, and Golbez's Ebon Armor. For weapons, I have Exdeath's Enuo's Scourge, Gabranth's Chaos Blade, and the Metamorphosis Claw.
Potato OSB
Exdeath Burst
Alph Burst (!!)
Shelke Burst
and FF7 Cid's 12 wind hit super which is a +wind armor
I'll take that. OSB could have been better since I already have Terras and hers is just flat more useful because of her skillset, but the 5*s were nice and I finally got Alph's burst after chasing that stupid thing for a thousand draws.

Quick! Someone tell me I will roll terribly!
It is technically quantifiable
This! This exactly. One person in all possible timelines is statistically likely to hit it.
Bout as big a chance as you making a good post. Blammo

Is it even a decision? It's FREE.

What, I'm not allowed to still salute?
I won't be home at rollover, so I'll be a bit late for the madness.
