Dang, looks like the Coke museum is probably out for me. They stop letting people in at 5, and my plane lands at 4. No way I'd be able to get out of the airport, check into my hotel, and head over to the museum in time.

Hmm, maybe I could do it on Thursday before I leave. My meeting is over at noon, the plane leaves at 4. I'd just have to drag my bags with me.

Yep. And I would be happy to pick you up, as I know you need a ride, however there is a snag. I live here. I don't mind picking people up, but going from here to South Atlanta to Roswell would take quite a bit of time, and I might not get off work until like 6pm. :(

See if you can skip out early on that Tuesday. Where do you work?

I'm a contractor for Jackson EMC, I inspect heating and air systems. What time I get off depends entirely on how much work load we have that day. I might get off at two, I might get off at seven. No way to tell until Tuesday morning when I pick up the schedule, really. But I can certainly try and get off early.

It would take me just under an hour to drive to your hotel (traffic permitting, and Atlanta traffic sucks) and then about 45 minutes to drive to Stales. So not too terribly bad.

I'm going to two concerts next week in ATL, one is tuesday night, the other is wensday night. I plan on sleeping in my car after the show on tuesday night, unless of course... someone from atlanta... who doesn't want to buttrape me...wants to... you know
    What shows?

Bergy would shoot his load over this one

It's As Cities Burn, Cool Hand Luke, The Glass Ocean, As I Lay Dying, Underoath and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster.

That's not terrible, and would still allow a pretty good amount of time before I'd need to head back and crash to get ready for my meeting the next morning. I'll probably stay up too late anyway and just load up on caffeine in the morning.

Probably the whole "working there" part.

Most importantly, the sound is terrible there. The managers are all junkies, the employees are all junkies, and the owners are usually out of touch or not ever there. All of the booking people have been crap, and all of their DJ's suck. I was also working the New Year's Eve that the stairs collapsed, injuring a bunch of people. They had me start working at the Chamber while the Masq was closed for a month. I guess that's a plus.

But seriously, the sound is awful.

So here is what I've gathered so far for what our plans may be:

    Tuesday the 29th:
My flight arrives 4ish in Atlanta. I will take a shuttle to the Holiday Inn Airport North and check in.

Stale has offered his place to hang out on Tuesday night for gaming and such. Sounds like he's got a killer setup, so it should be fun.

People who have expressed interest in going to Stale's:
Myself, Sars_Boy, Aneurhythmia, TDL, SA, Kovak

TDL hs offered to give me a ride on Tuesday from my hotel to Stale's and back again. However, he may not get off work until 6pm, and it'd be probably about 1:45 to complete the trip. So us two probably wouldn't get there until 8 or so. I'm cool with staying fairly late, I'll just caffiene it up on Wednesday morning for my meeting.

    Wednesday the 30th:
I have a work meeting until 5pm in the same hotel where I'm staying, so I'll be there again in the evening. I don't know for sure if there are plans for the second night at this point, and I don't want to mooch off Stale too much, so if anyone has any ideas, I'm down. Perhaps we can all go out to dinner somewhere. Any recommendations? People have been saying I should have some good authentic southern BBQ.

TDL will probably not be available to transport me this night, so either we'd have to go somewhere within walking distance of my hotel, or someone needs to pick me up.

    Thursday the 31st:
My meeting goes until noon that day, and my flight leaves at 4. They always say to be at the airport a good 2 hours before the flight for check in and security and such. So that leaves about 2 hours for me to kill.

Sars_Boy may be able to score some tickets for us to the brand spankin' new Coca-Cola museum. He says he will be out of school that day, so I can probably bum a ride off him from my hotel to the museum and then to the airport afterward. Even if he can't get free ones, I think I would still like to go. Tickets are 15 bucks at the door.

I don't know who all of you would even be able to attend that day due to work/school obligations, so let me know and I will update.

If I have missed anyone or anything, please let me know and I will add the info to the first page post. If anyone has any suggestions for any of these days, also let me know.
