Warrior dungeon deck was obviously made before the fwa nerf. That deck is almost 50% 3 drops.

It really hurts not having a strong 2 drop.
Same with the Druid Jungle Giants dungeon deck. Half the cards at 5 with their battlecry, which no longer counts.

Face/pirate package hunter and tempo priest have been my hardest match ups as cube lock. I haven't even hit rank 5 yet though.

I keep wanting to play kazakas priest, then I face aggro paladin 3 times in a row and go back to cube lock. Cube lock seems slightly favored vs it.

Yeah, although if you never draw Defile you can definitely just get SMOrced down.

If you have a mobile device (or one of the desktop emulators) you can use, loggin out (IN THE CLIENT ON THE MOBILE DEVICE, NOT BATTLE.NET) and logging back in is what fixes it for me right now. Does not work on desktop devices.

I'd say the hardest part of the deck is choosing between a reactive turn and a proactive turn while you're under pressure. If you never make a proactive play then you can't stabilize, but it can often feel dangerous spending a turn on setup that costs you 10+ life.

As someone who's been playing a lot of Aggro Paladin, I think it's ALWAYS correct to slam Possessed Lackey on 5 as Warlock, no matter how low you are (unless you're LITERALLY about to die next turn, but).

Literally Warlock gets Voidlord on board, they win. They just fucking win. Aggro Paladin doesn't have the tools to get past Voidlord. Period. Voidlord goes down, Warlock immediately stabilizes. Aggro Pally doesn't have reach!

The only way Aggro Pally wins is if they don't draw Defile AND they don't draw Lackey OR their Lackey pulls Doomguard instead (but there's been Warlock lists that have been cutting Doomguard entirely, soooo).

Paladin doesn't have burn but it does have reach. Like earlier today I played a T5 Possessed against an 8 damage board at 16 life, then died to Leeroy + Southsea. I might be overly paranoid about playing around that stuff though.

Man, I am regretting crafting Grumble a little bit.

I was so hoping that Elemental Shaman was going to be a good thing.

Maybe in the coming expansions after the rotation? Please?

I am up to like 90 bosses with priest now, this is beyond a joke, I one shot with every other class

I consistently hit legend, I've been playing since 2013 and I just can't beat the dungeon with this shitass grab bag of rubbish I get offered every single time

Then I get to boss 7/8 and the bullshit is compounded by lousy draws while the ai rips perfect god draws and it is just a boring waste of time

Okay so it turns out bitching helped

    I came, I saw, I took candle

Winning priest run was double battlecry start with 3 secrets C'thun with some light dragon synergy, a bunch of high value deathrattles + N'zoth, and the mana pickaxe/rod of roasting

Final boss was Aziz and I lucked into C'thun + N'zoth before he could discard them

The secret to winning Dungeon Run with Paladin is murlocs, apparently.

The other secret is having King Togwaggle as your final boss, and having him make half of his board that one treasure that summons a minion the same cost as a spell you cast.

Not only do those not have any attack, he loves to cast low-cost treasures and fill the remainder of his board with garbage.

Whew. Won against The Darkness with Priest by virtue of pulling Alexstraza off a Netherspite Historian. I was only at 4 life and it had 3 5/5 shadows up when the fatigue finished it off.

I am become 9/9 in dungeon runs. Finally managed to beat Xol the Unsomethinged with giant 5-mana C'thun. Game seems to not recognize that it has given me the card back, but I'm sure that'll resolve itself. Great game mode, wish more quests could be done in it, hope we get these kinds of expansions again in the future.

So I ran into this tempo priest and his deck was neato. Tempo tempo with cheating out some choice spells / minions.
They were running a Kele version but I decided on this custom tweak version. It is doing WORK.

I noticed that the grand archivist will only select viable spells and cast them.
As in, if there are no enemy minions on board, it will NOT select mind control even if it's the only spell left.
As soon as there's an enemy minion, it'll cast mind control if it's available and wins the RNG choice.

whenever i try to play aggro paladin i get inexplicably bad draws and get completely wrecked.
whenever my opponents play aggro paladin, they curve out, recover from three sweepers, and find lethal out of nowhere.

    it's becoming somewhat frustrating.

I guess I was wrong about unstable evolution. I thought the card was absolutely nuts when it was revealed and that people were going to get salty playing against it...and it turns out shaman isn't even good enough, with or without it, to be played at all.

Shaman is almost certainly fine, it can run the patches packet better than most classes, has 4 corridor creepers, can reflood with Saronite/Doppelgangster + Evolve, can Hex or Devolve warlock and even gets a light jade package. I'd run something like this:

    ### Custom Shaman
    # Class: Shaman
    # Format: Standard
    # Year of the Mammoth
    #
    # 2x (1) Evolve
    # 1x (1) Patches the Pirate

    # 2x (2) Jade Claws
    # 2x (2) Maelstrom Portal
    # 2x (2) Primalfin Totem
    # 2x (3) Mana Tide Totem
    # 2x (3) Southsea Captain
    # 2x (4) Jade Lightning
    # 2x (4) Saronite Chain Gang
    # 2x (5) Doppelgangster
    # 1x (6) Aya Blackpaw

Shame that the class is pigeonholed into a single archetype but I have bad memories of goblins vs gnomes midrange being dominant for a year so it deserves to be bottom of the pile

the "idea" is that grumbles is one of the few legendaries i've got out of the set so far, and wanted to use it in a different way... i guess it's just a very slow evolve deck that goes for value with the potential for a hand return play on a big evolved board. it doesn't work. i played the spellstones as well instead of the heal for a bit, but they feel bad and sit in your hand forever. i think it needs jinyus instead of the rain, or a more classic evolve package (claws / primalfins / dopplegangsters) but then it's just a stale meta deck really
