Discuss all of your favorites, such as Rainbow Six, or CS:GO in this thread.

I myself started playing Rainbow Six Siege again. The DLC pass is tempting, but for now I'm unlocking most of the standard Operators.

I was looking at siege but there are too many versions to buy and I wandered away.

From what Ive heard, standard edition doesn't have any operators unlocked. You will be saving time by buying the other version because you don't need to waste time unlocking new ones.

Gamebillet currently has the best deals on Siege going at the moment, 50% off and they have a 5% off code that should work. (gb5off)

    Breakdown of Siege things:

    x48xuoqb2gjv.png

R6: Siege - Base game. 20 operators available.
R6: Siege Gold Edition - Base game plus the 8 operators from the Season 1 Pass that you will have unlocked immediately.
R6: Siege Complete Edition - Base game plus the 16 operators from Season 1&2 unlocked immediately. Basically brings you up to date with all the content release so far.

I think you have to unlock the base operators of the game normally regardless of which version you get but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Doing the tutorial missions will give you enough to unlock two operators, I think 1000 points. I would recommend one for offense, one for defense as you will play both sides each game.

Thermite, Fuze, Ash, Sledge and Twitch are all good choices for offense early. I'd almost recommend against Ash though as she is a very popular character and will get chosen often.

Mute, Smoke, Doc, Rook, Kapkan and Bandit are solid choices for defense.

The characters from the season passes are significantly more expensive to unlock (25k) than the base game operators. (500-2000)

It's absolutely doable, but I would recommend either getting one of the editions with them unlocked (since it is considerably cheaper than buying a the season pass) or focus on building a stable of base operators first.

For the standard edition, you have access to all the available operators in the game, with the original 20 being very cheap to purchase (in game currency earned by playing). The complete edition gives you all operators, including DLC ops right out of the gate, fully unlocked and ready to use.

The starter edition is a god damn travesty and should not be purchased for any reason. It massively inflated the cost of operators, both original and DLC so much that it would take like 6 months of daily playing to unlock everyone. It’s absurd that it even exists.

Anyone able to recommend the older Rainbow 6 games? Got a lot of fond memories of playing the originals with my brother and they have 2-Vegas on steam.

Vegas 2's singleplayer content is pretty fun still. If any of the multiplayer functionality still works, the co-op stuff is great.

I think Rainbow Six 3 works on modern hardware still, and the original Rainbox Six is on GoG, so it should work too.

My thoughts on Mother Nature? Hurt her every chance you get.

Rainbows six 3 was magic way back when. I used to play on a pistols only server and it was the most fun you could have during those days.

I hopped back on Ghost Recon: Wildlands the other day and still think that it was a bit underrated. it was fun especially in co-op running around figuring out how to approach each location without being detected.

Yeah, overall I liked it, but it suffers from the first hour of the game being what you do for every other hour of the game.

    Fair

I never played Crysis so I downloaded Warface on a whim

It has multiple f2p (p2w?) currencies and seems like maybe a money grab but I tried co-op and a little team DM and I kinda like it

I thought it was supposed to be a cyberpunk tactical thing but it's Maybe more modern military than that

Anyone play this one? It feels like a game I can crack out on for a week and then just bail if I hit a pay wall

Oh, have you tried Ghost Recon Online? Been ages since I played it, but I really enjoyed the more slow-paced style.

Here's a video from many a moon ago where I had a great streak as a Specialist.

edit: ...and apparently they killed the game last year. Oh well.

I just bought The Division a couple days ago, but Elder Scrolls Online and Siege are pretty much taking up my playtime.

The Division became relevant at the worst time, because I wanted to play that game way back in 2016. Leveling up in ESO is priority one right now because I bought a month of ESO plus. Damn you Ubisoft.

I am a fan of Division. I think they really improved it over time snd the vibe and atmosphere are great. Good tough pve co op content that gives that pleading tom Clancy tacticool feeling when everyone is on point controlling the fights.

Also I have never had more clothing in a game than Division

It also doesn't help that they added in the holiday cipher crates (I needs all the holiday-themed shineys!). Thankfully, earning cipher keys is pretty painless and tied to their cheevo system.
