Holy shit I've been reading this forum for 3 and a half years.

I think I probably joined because I had an extremely boring job at the time and needed something to do at work, and there was always something entertaining going on here. Like a lot of people I mostly stuck to the on-topic forums at first, but lately I read SE++ most of the time.

Does it freak you regular posters out knowing there are lurkers like me who know all this stuff about your lives? You guys are like my neverending soap opera...

I've been trying to post a bit more lately but it mostly just ends up being in threads like these, where all the lurkers come out anyway. The conversation threads move too fast most of the time, and I always feel like I'd be interrupting...

Um, I was in college and playing a lot of Counterstrike and looking for new sites to browse and I heard about the PA comic from...someone.

Then a couple weeks later I noticed the forum button and clicked that. It was probably the video game threads that lured me in, at the time, and the debate threads...the chat forum back then was combined with all the others but the AC.

I thought some of the members were funny and creative so I stayed.

I wound up here when the Chat Thread was taken away as part of The Great Gee and Tee Exodus.

I almost never go to G&T anymore.

I'd started wanting to hear what other fans thought about the various webcomics I read one day, so in addition to reading the comic I'd check out what people were saying on the message board. I stumbled in here, and fell into an animated gif thread, which I bookmarked and pulled images from until it was pruned, at which point I started lurking about the whole of SE, and then finally joined.

I stopped posting at that other place soon after, though.
