cold out there today.
Its cold out there everyday. What is this, Miami Beach?
Not hardly. And you know you can expect hazardous travel later today with that you know that blizzard thing.
Oh that blizzard thing. That blizzard thing. Oh well here's the report, the National Weather Service is calling for a "big blizzard thing."
Yes they are, but you know there's another reason that today is especially exciting
Especially cold

I don't know but I could check with the kitchen
I swear to God that Groundhog better do the right thing.
You mean stay in his hole where it's safe and warm? Yeah, I agree
No I mean come out of his hole wearing a trans rights t-shirt.
You are sharp as a tack, old buddy!
See now I'm imagining a version of the movie where the big realization Phil comes to in order to break out of the loop is that they're a girl.

it still can be
We just have to start with the man in the mirror.
and then showed up to watch it again the next day, from the exact same seat, wearing the exact same outfit
....
AND TIM MINCHIN WORKED ON IT
I sure hope it tours at some point
I had read the first part but did not know about the second part, that's fucking incredible. I'm so mad I missed out the Broadway version, I really wanted to see it but theater is too expensive.
Yeah, I don't really like Bill either, and this movie especially has a lot of his bad qualities behind it (he and Harold Ramis stopped talking to each other after making it for decades if not the rest of Harold's life), but I loved the movie before I learned that Bill is kind of a shithead and I am not going to let who he is ruin it for me. Especially since the movie's message is basically "if you don't change, your life will become a living hell." It's like he was talking to Bill directly.
It's not really who he is that bothers me (I don't really know anything about him), he's just a terrible actor.
Oh he's definitely a talented actor. He doesn't always demonstrate that, it's true, but I think this movie actually involves a fair bit of good work from him. In a sense it kind of has him transition from a "just be yourself, Bill" type of role to one of his more dramatic roles.
-Indiana Solo, runner of blades
You're hypocrites, all of you!
