    Son who is also a tenant is throwing a fit because his mom who is also his landlord is fed up with his old dog, and he's threatening to call the city because of our probably-illegal living situation

    True story:

    On Thursday the construction work in our office accidentally set off the fire alarms with their welders.

    I grabbed my work laptop but left my knick-knacks behind. When asked about this, I said it would be very weird if I walked out of a burning building with my desk toys. Everyone else agreed, and then thought I was weird for saving work property.
