Anyone ever purchase from 'WinGameStore' before? Have any reviews?
Yep, many times (as well as MacGameStore for the occasional OS agnostic Steam key deals there). Never had a problem.* I believe they are a legit key seller.

Well, one time I bought a key for Tales from the Borderlands, but it turned out to be for TellTale's site and not a Steam Key. That's pure user error though. It was clearly labeled.
Did it take long to get your key? I'm thinking about getting TWD from them since it's 15% off and I missed the Steam preorder 10%.
I'm just gonna buy it on Steam with Death's Gambit anyway. It's only like $3 difference.
@Pixelated Pixie decided I needed a boost to set teh VR stuff up, despite it being here sat in a box for the past 2 months. Thanks for Ghostbusters VR Pix!!! :heartbeat:
Deathgarden is more of a spiritual successor to Splinter Cell's PvP than Evolve. Its multiple stealth-parkour people playing 3rd person versus a FPS player.
That's the thing, they're all fun. But Warframe has the gameplay loop down. Running and gunning (barring missions where I'm too low or the level crashes my video card) is fun and there's always one more item to get and one more meter fill in the most fun way.
Even grinding for credits is fun as there is a gameshow on Neptune called the index. Jump in with gear configured for magnetic damage, rack up 50K for investments, and boom! Financing.
I'm undecided on Death's Gambit. Seems kinda cool but it's also a bit janky.
After playing it some more I'll say that its a "good" game but yes very janky and it needs patching badly. I died while exploring and awoke on a deserted island, waded into the sea a bit then got an out of memory error and crashed. Maybe the game is just messing with me? Probably just the jank. https://youtu.be/hgx_hC7a_Z8
It feels a lot like an early access release, but IMO there's still a fun game in there that just needs polishing
Just saw that deal for Immortal Redneck at Fanatical for 10 bucks. Anyone given this a shake? I really like Ziggurat and would like to know if it's the same thing fundamentally

I have it on the Switch and while I haven’t played it TOO much, it’s pretty decent. A progressive roguelike FPS. For ten bucks it’s not bad.

I'm in the same boat. It's too polished for Early Access, and there's still a ton of small bugs in it. Aliasing of pixel backgrounds (dead pixel lines not connecting the backgrounds), getting stuck in walls (a knight used magic to suck me into a wall and I had to homeward bone out), and weird respawn places that I can't tell if it's intentional or not yet. I spawned at a dead tree with a bunch of floating death bats and wondered what the hell was going on, walked a few steps and teleported to where I actually rested at. Could be a cool thing happening, could be a serious bug, who knows!? Janky combat and stats? I feel like I have to pump Haste and Endurance first because rolling twice takes your entire stamina bar.
Apart from my small complaints, I am thoroughly enjoying playing the game, I'm just curious if I should wait for the first patch before continuing any further. I rolled a Blood Knight and pumped Strength to 10 because my starter weapon is an Axe, but I think I'm going to roll Finesse and start working on scythes/daggers and bows. The graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is very good. So far the map layout is connected enough (three bosses down), but having a mount to take you from one area to the next is also really neat. It definitely needs Combat feedback, and some fixes for the bugs mentioned before. But it has potential to be one of the best 2D Souls-likes yet though.

I’m personally going to shelve it until a few patches come out.
Reddit seems to be buzzing with information from SteamDB (full credit to them for finding it) showing indications that Valve might be adding support for compatibility tools to enable you to play games on operating systems they weren't designed for, like Wine.
I won't copy all of it, but a few interesting bits do certainly stick out like the string named "Steam_Settings_Compat_Info" where the description reads "Steam Play will automatically install compatibility tools that allow you to play games from your library that were built for other operating systems.".
There's also "Steam_Settings_Compat_Advanced_Info" which reads as "You may select a compatibility tool to use with games that have not been tested or verified to work on this platform. This may not work as expected, and can cause issues with your games, including crashes and breaking save games."
If this is accurate, Gabe is making a big move on MS, and it may be the biggest fireworks in the PC gaming arena since the rise of Steam itself. It may also be a shot across the bow of the other clients.

Graveyard Keeper is releasing in a few hours and I have a 25% OFF coupon for it, if anyone is interested let me know and I'll send it your way.
Been eyeballing this one, myself. Anybody know if it's any good?
I played the Alpha for awhile. It gets really grindy but its worth a look if you like resource grindy games. I dont know much of what they changed in the release I will know more tonight. It is at least worth a look on youtube if you are on the fence about it.
Steam can you maybe not risk Windows reverting back to everything requiring GFWL, thanks.
That may be the plan actually - to make it so that they bring compatibility aid so companies have a reason to stick about - namely, the ability to tell MS to shove their BS without having to clear the hump of making it work on Linux.

Work on your backlog! Whittle it down bit by bit!
There's a reason Bethesda is reversing their "No pre-release review copies" policy and I feel this is part of it.
Pretty good game, although few will have the patience to get the proper ending because of all the Riddler stuff.

I'm sorry to 'ear that.
Dunno. With the exception of the Backlog Challenge, which is a fun, community event, I think I'm getting past worrying about my backlog.
Play what's fun for you right now, you know?

@21stCentury sent me a tickle torture game.
I don't think I had any tickle torture games.
A hole in my library has been filled!
Thanks!

Hard to say, sometimes I get bullied, other times I gun them down.
Don't know how well I'd do without turrets though, putting the extra pressure on runners make it a lot harder for them to just focus on me.
Sounds like a bad day.
