Sleep Deprived Looking Eyes

I noticed for a while now I tend to have circles around my eyes, as if I wasn't getting much sleep. I think it started when I used to stay up to 3 or 4 in the morning, then get up at 7 for school, then work.

That was a couple of years ago now and barring the night out a couple of times a week, I'm usually getting a solid eight to ten hours sleep a night. I eat well and get a run in of a morning a the gym a few days a week, so is there anyway to get rid of these things?

I basically look like I've gotten no sleep at all the night before, making me look a bit haggard at times. Suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

I have the same problem, which is why I tend to wear classes instead of my contacts, it's a family trait, my mom eventually got plastic surgery to reduce them. Me I've been having good luck with Billy Jealousy wipeout eye cream. It may seem expensive but you only use a little bit. The bags won't go away completely, but it helps I at least don't get constantly told you look tired when I wear my contacts.

You may laugh, but the classic trick residents use to drop the "on call look" is a few very tiny dabs of hemorrhoid cream under the eyelids. Exact same physiologic principle, works nicely, quite cheap.

Yeah this is quite a conondrum. I have the same problem even though I sleep gloriously every night as well as eating a pretty good diet and working out every other day. I do believe there has to be a better solution than ass cream though. I'm not trying to be a skeptic but please guys, don't make me rub ass cream on my face.

It's not like it's been on other people's asses. They make eye cream that's basically the same stuff at $4-6 for a tiny tube if that makes you feel better.

Do you smoke pot? Because that can do it too.

Have a source? My eyes were like this long before I ever tried pot.

I have the same problem, it began back in 6th grade when I started LANing CS and RO hardcore, never gone away since. I also wear my glasses instead of contacts to mask it.

My asian friend had something similar, and he said (from personal experience) that I should "coat my face in (preferrably expired) gogurt because it has the vitamins you need".

I think I'll go with the eye cream. Post if it helps for you.

No, I've never smoked full stop. I'll drink when I go out with mates, but I can't imagine that would be it. Whats the name of the tubes of eye stuff Doc?

Ive noticed that when im tired, my right eyelid, and only my right eyelid, droops/looks really fat or something, so its like im constantly wincing.

Would the cream stuff help with that as well?

I've actually found that droopy skin under the eye is -from- sleeping.

It's like laying down makes it fill with fluid. Stay up long enough and it flattens out. Sleep in on the weekend and GAH.

Which is why it's nice that I can barely get six hours of sleep anymore: no puff.

Now if you mean the -discoloration-. I have no clue.

    No, just puff.

And yeah, it may be the too much sleep actually.

A beauty trick I heard for this was to use potato slices on the eyes. It has to be a cold potato cut to a thin slice, sort of like you see for cucumber. She explained the potato helped pull some of the chemical buildup of darkened eyes out. I haven't actually tried this yet, so your mileage may vary.

A quick Google search reveals that this may actually work: http://www.arizonaspagirls.com/0/Lifestyle/BeautyLab/Eye_Brake_for_Spuds

So if the color of under your eyes is the problem, like me, this may help. I've also been known to use a dab of concealer to make the dark color not so intense. More guys wear some form of make-up than will ever admit it.

Conan O Brien does this. So i guess it works.
