I got a card in the mail yesterday that said I was part of a class action suit against Gamestop for a credit card breach last year. I did some digging and it seems that Gamestop has recently settled a Class Action Lawsuit alleging they failed to adequately protect customer's credit card data. If you purchased anything from gamestop.com between August 2016 and February 2017 you are likely part of the class and may be entitled to compensation.
As it happens, a couple months after the breach my Amex was stolen and I had to get a new one. I was directed to fill out a claim at the link below.
Anyone else get this? It seemed pretty phishy to me at first but I think it's legit. I'd heard about the breach but I had no idea someone got a class action together.
