Ok, but that link has nothing to do with what they are saying. They're not saying that 2 dlc versions exist so they can trick people into buying the wrong version.
What they're saying is they made the dlc version specific so that somebody who bought both sword and shield would have to buy the dlc twice if they want to have access to it on both their games.
Thats 100% why the dlc is set up like this. Nintendo/The Pokemon Company don't want people to buy the dlc once and access it on both versions of the game.
Okay well it's real easy to make money I guess. There's a watt digger guy in the DLC who gave me 220k watts for free, which I then turned into 1000 luxury balls, which I then turned into 1.5 million bucks.
So now I just need to catch a 5 star ditto by farming that one raid den and the joy of breeding my own team of super stars will begin.
I got a *definitely legit!* 6IV shiny hidden ability foreign Ditto from a mystery trade on Pokemon Home. It sure has made breeding much easier.
I wish the DLC added more Pokemon Boxes, as I am bumping up against the limit. I should just go and release a couple boxes of random junk I got through mystery trades. I was holding on to a lot of the random stuff for breeding but that one Ditto makes most of them unnecessary.

Uh ya if the offer is there I wouldn't mind one of them. The only 5 IV ditto I've managed to catch so far has HP as the missing IV which is kinda annoying.

When I get a shiny in Surprise Trade I just immediately re-trade it. My one exception to my "don't re-trade" principle. I have no use for it, but it might make someone's day

Yea that's what I wanted Watts for.
Once I saw how many I needed I just kinda gave up on the dojo.
But if I can get a big bunch there it would make it feasible.
Urshifu's stats also aren't obscenely good, so using him doesn't feel like using an OP legendary dude. His signature moves are damn good as well, perfect for breaking walls since they always crit, and the water form can destroy Substitutes as well.
Anyone know how long the various G-max raids are boosted?
It's cool that everyone gets a chance to catch the G-maxes, but it's a bit boring that they only reward experience candy and dynamax candy. I'd rather get armorite right now
edit: Nvm, found a source. Boosted G-max event ends June 29th. Zeraora event ends the day before
G max raids feel kinda useless right now since you can just give a pokemon max soup now and like you said they don't drop anything other than exp/dynamax candy.
I've been intentionally avoiding fighting them once I realized they were the reason some raids weren't giving me TRs and armorite.
