So, uh. What kinds of blogs do you read? I like to read ones about niche topics like SF publishing and Warren Ellis' writing, and I'm looking for more cool stuff.
I read:
Making Light, a journal about, well.. bunches of stuff. Mostly science fiction publishing and medical terms, with a bit of politics thrown in. The best part about it is the comment threads, where intelligent people talk about intelligent things.
Tiny Nibbles, Violet Blue's site on sex education and porn for people who think most mainstream porn sucks. I ain't gonna link it because it is quite NSFW, but you should check it out if you are interested in that sort of thing.
whatever you do do not read political blogs because they will cause your brain to fall out
the achewood blogs are pretty funny though

I'm right in the middle of V for Vendetta and A Walk in the Woods, and every once in a while I'll read a chapter out of A People's History of the United States when I want to fall asleep depressed.
Pretty much the closest thing to a blog I read is stuff on the Engadget/Joystiq network. Which technically are blogs, but in reality just boil down to "we dig through all the crappy content video game news/tech sites put up so you don't really have to".

like, seriously, I wish I could just grow out a monster beard and live off of royalty checks so I could spend my days walking around in the sewers just so I could look up at little kids through a sewer grate and scream at the top of my lungs, or just chuckle softly so that they come and investigate the crazy quiet laughter coming from the storm drain, and when they get close I cram my crazy bearded face right up next to the grate and just go BREALAAGHGHGHALALALARGH!!!
Also I just finished a three-day marathon read of Elyse Sewell's livejournal because she's hilarious and pretty, and reading about her international model exploits is great blah blah fag

Really really funny bloke, never really says much other than what's happened to him or what he's thinking though.

Another really funny screenwriter / sometime game journalist. If you remember the thing a few weeks ago about Phil Harrison at a Marrilion concert, this was him.
