I need to tow a car and I'm looking for some big name places I can google/yellow pages to rent a trailer, one that I can load said car onto. All I keep finding are towing places - which there's not way in hell I'm paying that much when I can do it myself with a trailer.

I know U-haul has trailers. Make sure whatever you're towing with has a drive train that can support the weight of towing another car.

    And of course. 8-)

Semi Edit - I left as soon as I typed this up only to come back to see I never posted it.
Seems every thing out here is closed for this weekend. Funny thing though is my neighbor actually has one. D'oh!
