What Is The Best Tim Curry [Movie]?
Muppet's Treasure Islandhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvUbbYX9BMs&t=29s
Scandalously, in his role as Long John Silver he has only one song. But it's a corker, and throughout the rest of the movie he delivers his usual subtle performance of suppressed emotion and nuance.
Cluehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mtTuq1KoDQ
He plays Wadsworth the butler in a film that should be much, much worse than it actually is. The first act lags, some jokes don't land, but Tim Curry holds everything together incredibly, not least in the last act, when he tells you who did it three times while sprinting, falling, yelling, jabbing his fingers and generally being very Tim Curry like.

Hiya, Georgie!
Legendhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnLXnnzlF6E
It's tough to pull off horns bigger than your head, but Tim Curry does it with aplomb. Probably on the short list every time someone needs to cast Satan, he's a sensuous devil here. I would imagine the amount of fan-fiction this performance produced is substantial, and will never check.
The Three Musketeershttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVB9dDMVA_g
Not a great film. Probably not even a good one, but the villains were all very good. Michael Wincott, Rebecca De-Mornay and of course Tim Curry as a Cardinal Richelieu who is enjoying his robes. Enjoy him acting Chris O'Donnell off the screen here. No great task, but still. Look at him roll every word around in his mouth and revel in power.
So, in which of the movies above is Tim Curry
most great? Let's decide once and for all, right here. This list of great Tim Curry performances is of course definitive, and nothing has been left out.

He was amazing as King Arthur in Spamalot and I wish there were legal recordings of that out there

Also, remember he was King Chicken in the Duckman cartoon and he was in the Rosanne TV show for a short while.

The Worst Witch is sooooo baddd.

It benefits and is elevated from a soundtrack by Michael Kamen it does not deserve and a wonderfully treasonous performance by Curry.
There is enough charisma from the trio of musketeers to outweigh O’Donnel’s performance. The escape from the execution scene in the carriage and the kick off of the final battle scene is just pure fun.

He was also Sir Gawain in the Prince Valiant cartoon, which is more trivia than anything but had a banger of an intro.

Ah Space Truckers, what a wonderful piece of B-movie bliss.

It is, however, not the best Muppets movie.
That's Christmas Carol right
Right.

Plus the Venice sequence made me want an AssCreed movie. Shame about that.
I've always loved that version. And yes, the scene right before the final battle kicks off where it's the 3 of them against all the cardinal's guards and then all the other musketeers pour in from the crowd and whip off their disguises in unison is pure cheesy brilliance. The syncing with the music is perfection.
but I also love it
Yeah, this omission is pretty baffling to me
Rocky Horror is his most iconic role and probably the least interesting answer to the question, as it’s the most obvious. And quite possibly the right answer!
