in either case, there's a ton of frontloaded complexity they don't bother explaining to you, I guess because it's a beta, but also, we live in an era where being deliberately obtuse is considered a valid design choice so who knows.
Is there a different video? Because the zombie groans are barely audible even when I have it turned up loud enough where the streaming yelling is painful.
I mean there's probably a lack of diversity, if only because game development is oversaturated with white men. However, even the palest dude in the country knows that the n-word isn't considered acceptable to put in your professional product.
I don't know how the hell they overlooked this, but it is incredibly funny to imagine their reaction to learning about it.
My Special fires five rockets, which all Deflect upon detonation. I got a splitter witch chamber in Elysium and it was just the most glorious ten seconds. It also deals +110% damage from a Chaos boon, on top of the +110% from Athena. If I hit an enemy at point-blank range, they just eat all five rockets at once.
Any time I Deflect, I briefly gain a 20% critical hit chance.
My primary attack inflicts Doom.
If a Doomed enemy is struck by a Deflect effect, the Doom stacks immediately hit with 40 bonus damage.
Both my attack and special are 20% faster, thanks to Hermes.
I did have the evergreen acorn, but it still had a charge left, which means I only got hit four times in the entire thirty-second final battle.
I don’t think this is a tale of family reconciliation anymore, I think I’m back at war with my dad and this time I deserve it.

I suspect that they don't experience this at all in their internal test setup, for whatever reason
The last clip, starting at 27 seconds in, is the easiest to hear the zombie in.
Or they didn't notice because they're already familiar with the game, sound effects, etc. Fresh eyes (or ears) pick up things creators don't.
That game becomes a real grind towards the end but it's still pretty cool.

Also my problem with these games is early on I can never tell if I’m bad or if I’m just too early in runs to make any headway. Like I know it’s a run game and you’re supposed to die, but until I get used to that fact it’s always triggering my “you’re losing play better” response
