Yeah, Nathria is worth a trip. It's legitimately a badass raid. Some of the best-tuned fights they have ever created are in there.

Sludgefist during progression is /chefskiss and it's still a fun fight even when everyone over-gears it. And Sire Denathrius is a fantastic final boss. One of the best they have ever made.

The only other must-see content I would say is Taza'vesh. Go in there on like an M0 or something. Both halves of it are absolutely brilliant. It's an A+ dungeon.

There's a fun toy from the Maldraxxus campaign questline that lets you transform into a Necrolord cultist, and it even has some customization appearances that you can collect (very minor ones, do not overhype it), but it's a fun thing to have.

Did a crash course on war this weekend 10-60. It wasn't a bad play style, but not what I'm after. Felt like the cap stone talents are good but not game changey.

Hoping to get close to 50 tonight on my demo warlock want to play with implosions. Before the 50% goes away.

I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

One thing I've been enjoying in the prepatch is the resto shaman build on WoWhead. Having access to both Primordial Wave and Chain Harvest allows for some shenanigans on par with early MoP Uplift. Yes, I would like to have Riptide and cast Healing Wave on an entire 13-man raid, how did you know?

Evokers tomorrow! Excited to try them.
If anyone's planning to play alliance again and isn't sure where, I'm an officer in Knights of Arcadia in Dark Iron which has had a max of like four people online in the past few weeks so feel free to throw an app in there and let me know you're from here.

After fully skipping shadowlands it has been nice just blazing through the story so far. Hit Revendreth on my pally just doing campaign quests and 60 already thanks to the xp boosts.

Also a couple of important last minute FYI (probably too late to matter but...)
    - starting tomorrow xp per level goes down a lot, especially in the 50-60 range.
    - while the winds of wisdom big goes away it should still be faster
    - you can no longer pick the SL Threads Of Fate leveling (something available to alts once you have a main that's done a bunch of covenant stuff in SL where dailies unlock right away and you don't have to follow the linear story, but also a lot faster one patch cycle after it was introduced).
    - characters that are already on threads of fate get grandfathered in. Meaning looking at 1-2 hours to go 50-60.

I'm still on the fence about starting an Evoker since that place is going to be packed with peanuts on launch day and I'm sure it's going to be laggy. Might just work on the elemental storms.

Hey all, random question here... I'm trying to get all my scouting maps (just one of those things I've been putting off), and one of the last issues I'm having is exploring Drustvar from BFA. The problem I'm running into is that originally when I played BFA, I was Alliance, I never did any of the expansion content after the initial release, but I had at least made some progress in the storyline.

When Shadowlands released, I did a Faction switch on my character, so now it acts like I have never stepped foot into any BFA content. This is where I run into a problem:
    • Multiple guides tell me to go to the ship with Nathanos and ask the captain to sail to Drustvar, but unfortunately that option is not available to me.
    • Then, someone said something about a portal to Drustvar next to Ysera, but I can't seem to find Ysera anywhere in Zuldazar...
    • Theeennn someone suggested to take a port from the "Heart of the Forest" to Drustvar, but apparently that's for Night Fae only (the only covenant I never joined)?
So I'm wondering if someone can help me out here, just how in the heck does a "fresh toon" get to Drustvar so I can get the explorer achievement? I attempted to start doing some of the BFA quests to unlock Drustvar, but after fiddlefarting around in Nazjatar for a few hours now, I don't have any idea if I'm any closer to unlocking Drustvar, and not sure if I'm even doing the correct quests which work toward unlocking Drustvar.

Heeeey! Yeah I'm Dohaeris, or more likely Dohadin right now on my paladin. Or Dohvaker on my soon to be evoker heh. Guild chat's been so dead I've been tempted to jump to another one but I appreciate all the leveled up guild perks. I assume more people will show at some point with this xpac looking pretty good.

IIRC you have to do part of the War campaign to unlock expeditions into enemy territory. So you might have to do some questing like unlocking the mission table and stuff.

They should be noted with orange exclamation points. You might have to do other stuff first but anything with an orange ! will be the main war campaign.

There are heirloom toys that unlock all travel points. I vaguely recall that you can just buy them and use them and it will give you the Explorer achieves.

I'm pretty sure that all war campaign quests begin ON your respective faction boat. So if you're Horde, go down to the docks and find Nathanos and there should be a quest to start the warcampaign.

The way the campaign works, from a high level, is that you will be given the option of three landing points in the opposite faction's zones. Pick a landing, go there, do a bunch of sub-quests to unlock a basecamp and landing point. Rinse and repeat 3 times to unlock all 3 zone landings. Then, after you have unlocked each landing point / base camps in enemy territory, you can talk to Admiral Tattersail and she will have a dialog option to set sail for your location.

The quests are pretty quick, and if you're 60, you can blow through them very fast.

As a follow-up thought to the BfA war campaign discussion...

For some silly reason, they level-gated the war campaign in Chromie time to I think level 35. That number might be changing today with prepatch v2. But prior to today, you could not even begin accepting quests from Nathanos until 35. I'm not sure what level your horde is, but this might be part of the problem.

However! The war campaign foothold quests are ah-maz-zing XP. Some of the best I've seen, honestly. If you're wanting to breeze through some levels, there basically isn't a better option than the BfA faction war campaigns. They are jam packed with sub-quests that are always in the same area and they seem to come in bundles of 3 or 4 per set. There's always a "Kill 10/15 dudes quest," a "Collect X number of drops quest," a "Click X number of ground interactibles," and generally also a "Kill a named dude" quest. And usually most foothold quest chains involves doing this 2-3 times per foothold. It's extremely fast and efficient questing.

BfA might have sucked for story and Azerite, but they absolutely nailed the open world questing. BfA is pretty much the absolute height of WoW questing in my opinion.

You can only purchase the ones for zones you have earned the Explorer achievement for. I am unable to purchase the ones for BFA and Pandaria due to that restriction. Drustvar is the last zone I need to unlock the achievement so I can buy the heirloom.

Yeah, I'll have to just slog through all the "orange exclamation" quests then. Painful to do as a 60, maybe I'll level an alt there in the future...

So on my blood elf hunter I accidently while being curious got rounded up in the group killing the elementals and went from 53 to 57 nearly 58 in less than an hour
I took my mage from 54 to 59 and my warrior from 55 to 59 doing the same. my blood elf priest went from 53 to 55 but there was no elites at that time, that was about 20 minutes though

I would guess a lot of them are heals. Maybe not a full quarter (though for a reg-ass dungeon I feel like most people will queue as both) but it doesn't matter when the chokepoint is tank.

the queue for the tyr dungeon seems to be broken tbh, even queuing as healer I get an expected 3-5min queue followed by a 30minute wait (which is the longest I've let it go, it's never actually popped)
