I broke my speakers a couple months back when I accidentally kicked one off my desk (they were half-busted hand-me-downs from a friend anyway) and have been using my headphones ever since. I'm looking to get a new pair and figured you folks might have some suggestions.
If possible, I'd rather not spend more than like 30 bucks. I'm not looking for the best speakers ever or surround sound or anything like that; just a solid pair that'll make noises at the appropriate times. Subwoofer is iffy, since I have to transport this junk back and forth to college and a subwoofer would just add an extra level of HURUGLGUGRKG to the car-packing process.
Here are a couple I was looking at on buy.com. Thoughts?
