    Someone at ESPN does not like Tim Anderson.

    MINNEAPOLIS -- Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson was suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount by Major League Baseball on Friday for giving fans the middle finger during a game Wednesday in Cleveland.

    Anderson is appealing the ban and will play until the matter is settled. He remained in the lineup Friday, committing his sixth error in three games in a 2-1 loss to Minnesota.

    Yeah he's appealing the ban and still making errors so like maybe he should have taken the ban?

    My baseball consumption is basically jomboy, maybe a game in person a year, and college ball on the radio on spring days for naps. I think robo umps would be unquestionably better for the sport, but also a great loss to the fans. Baseball needs to stay a little weird if it's going to stay so darn slow.

    For me its how I view like play off hockey refs versus regular season. I hate that a strike zone varies from day to day, and even pitcher to pitcher and that adds an element of bullshit when there shouldn't be one.
