So this is currently my bumper.
Obviously not super safe to drive.
My car already has tons of miles and I think it'll be replaced soon enough, so I don't really want to invest tons more into it.
I was thinking that I could just cut off the side that's hanging. It won't look pretty but at least it'll be safe to drive.
Is that a dumb idea? And if not, what's the best way to cut through a bumper?

Option one, remove the whole bumper. Drive on. I'd get in contact with my local police / sheriff department because I don't know if the presence of a bumper makes a car legal to drive or not.
Option two, that is a Toyota Corolla, right? There's a billion replacements just sitting at your local junkyard. Give them a call with your model and year and go pick it up for cheap and replace it with a YouTube tutorial.
Option three of just cutting it off is...not great. Those things are plastic and getting a reasonable cut without cracking that whole thing is going to be dicey. Also, not sure about legal to drive with half a bumper.
What year is the car?

You can't give someone a pirate ship in one game, and then take it back in the next game. It's rude.
Quick morning project. That was much easier than expected and it's such a relief to have found a better fix.
Now just get a really big band-aid decal and you'll be all set.
