I'm kind of flummoxed what the problem could be. I can watch other videos on YouTube just fine, so it's not a connection, memory, or driver problem right? I'm using the latest Firefox, on a Windows PC. I've tried disabling all my add-ons and that didn't resolve it. These two never display the "you need to get the right codec" error message either. They just hang with the loading circle spinning forever. I've tried closing the tab, closing the browser, and then reopening. I've even gone back to them after I'd restarted the PC for something else, still won't play. Here's links to the two videos in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmyd9LTkpfk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zRuKfIn72E
Those both play for me, but the other day I had a video that refused to play no matter what I did in the exact way you're describing, and seemed to have vanished from the uploader's channel upload list as well. I checked it again a few days later and it worked fine. Mysteries.

Hah, and now that I've actually asked about it, the problem went away all on its own. Nice to finally get to hear that song. The DBZ fan video was a disappointment, unfortunately. Strangely, the fan video still doesn't play when I go to YouTube, but does play embedded here. The "Wolf Like Me" cover is behaving normally though.
Still weird that they would not play for quite a while, no matter what I did. At least I'm not the only one experiencing it.
I think youtube has been having a few issues lately, as I have also had issues with a few videos.
Strangely it sometimes helped using the "Play" button down to the left, the one next to the other controls, while the big red play button shown in the center of the video did not work. No idea why, maybe it was just that it resulted in a new attempt and it was then luck.
