I'm glad the Judgment games are finally on PC. I'm playing the first one on PS5 and it kicks ass, kinda wish I didn't buy the 2nd one yet so I could get it on PC but oh well.
Theres a bundle for both games on Steam, and if you buy it you get the Kaito Files expansion for Lost Judgment for free, which is a smaller campaign set after the main game where you play as Kaito, your assistant from the two games. I've heard its really good.
Also announced at TGS last night, there's a bunch more Like a Dragon* coming in the next two years, too. In addition to the Ishin remake announced yesterday, we're getting another game next year and in 2024.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is coming sometime in 2023. It stars Kiryu, now a monk known as Joryu, and covers what happened between Yakuza 6 and 7 with a return to the traditional action combat of the first 6 games. It's a smaller game than the traditional mainline games but will be important as it will lead in to the plot of LAD 8.

Like A Dragon 8 comes out in 2024, and stars both Ichiban and Kiryu as playable protagonists. It's an RPG again, and both characters will have their own parties. Kiryu's fucked up hair will apparently be explained in the game, they didn't want to say anything due to spoilers lol.
*The name of the series is apparently going to be Like a Dragon moving forward, which is the English translation of the Japanese title of the series (hence why Yakuza 7 was subtitled Like a Dragon)
Negativity perpetuates itself and brings down the general attitude of the forum, encouraging others to post in such a way, and for my part im sorry i engaged in it.
personally i think the forums need more "negativity" because the forced positivity is toxic and overwhelming and creates a stagnant, unrealistic environment.
weedlordvegeta basically said "great observation, captain obvious", a bog standard reply for when someone says something obvious (which happens way too much on these forums), and gets multiple replies that are all way more aggressive than the original. it didn't even register to me as a combative post, let alone "being a complete dick". i
i dunno, hope your day goes better than it sounds like it's going for you right now
edit: basically i don't like this forum being like...ted lasso twitter
The original reply from weedlord basically has the implied message of "fuck off, dont talk to me you idiot". Whether this was intended, i dont know, but thats the message i interpreted. And it was to someone who i have never seen be a dick to anyone here, ever.
People dont need to be all positive all the time, i agree. Thats lame. I just think the post was being a dick for no reason, and people shouldnt do that. Keep this a place people want to post at and dont engage in behavior that will drive them away needlessly. When i said negativity what i meant is being a dick, just being mean.
My response was excessive though.
I know this is from a page ago but I just now saw all of it, and I just wanted to say thanks but I didn't find his reply to my post real bad or anything. Especially since, as he said, my post was just an empty post deserving of an empty reply.
And not that this justifies anyone being an asshole to me (not that anybody here was!), but I have definitely been a dick to people on these forums, plus I've said a lot of really ignorant and shitty things over the years. I try not to, especially for the past several years, but I slip up and make mistakes sometimes.

Yakuza fans are absolutely feasting right now. Not bad for a series that was labeled basically dead in the West just 6 years ago.
The Wandering Village is a city-building simulation game on the back of a giant, wandering creature. Build your settlement and form a symbiotic relationship with the colossus. Will you survive together in this hostile, yet beautiful post-apocalyptic world, contaminated by poisonous plants?
20220914 The Wandering Village (Early Access Building Singleplayer Sandbox )
Based on the Cultivation Simulator reviews it seems to have a combination of idle-game explosive growth with highly complicated and action intensive rimworld-like gameplay and very few automation/QoL upgrades showing up over time, which might be awesome for somebody but basically sounds like exactly what I don't want out of a Numbers Go Up game.

Those are some weird choices for tags for what, according to the gameplay footage, seems to be a bullet hell shooter crossed with Diablo?

Just to add my cents to things: I didnt actually find your reply empty. Most games that do multiplayer are infact, improved by being able to play with multiple people. The social element helps! So.. if Peace Walker is above and beyond that, why's that? DEFEND YOUR ARGUMENT.
Anyway, no harm done it seems except that one day in the misty futures, Weedlordvegeta and I will have to duel to the death. Which is fine, I'm undead, I'll be back no matter the outcome.
Not every post has to be a thesis meriting defense, sometimes you just wanna put out words out on the Internet (but like a normal amount of words, sorry pony)

imagine being so mad about trans people that you ask if the director/composer/voice of the main character since the franchise started has been there long

"I hope all of you will watch of her path after her courageous decision to stay true to her own feelings" is some lovely phrasing. You go, Bridget. And ArcSystems.

I've now completed the first act of Encased and this is the most Fallout a game has felt since... well, probably since I played Fallout 2 as a teenager.
And I'm still enjoying it, but to be clear, that's with damn near every flaw that it can imply as well as any merits. Poorly marked quests, endless amounts of useless loot that's all technically useful, a variety of trap perks and/or perks that aren't available until level 15 that you really should have built your entire character around hitting the requirements for, a "satirical" sense of "humor", the list goes on.
It's a fun game that I'm probably going to keep playing the whole way through, but I had a little bit hoped that it was going to be a good game that I could like, recommend to some of my friends who hopped on with Fallout 3, and I don't think it's that. If you're experience with those classics and you want another one it's a pretty good fit, managing to be both very similar in terms of gameplay and overall world while also feeling different enough that it isn't just a clone of them, but I don't know if it would work if you're not used to a certain amount of old CRPG jank.

I might be one of the only Yakuza fans bummed by this. I really like the end of 6, felt it was a good send off for Kiryu, and want Ichiban to carry the story from here.
i've seen it rumoured that the west liked ichiban way more than the japanese fanbase did, and since they're, you know, closer to the actual creators, their feedback carries that weight

i honestly thought it went free to play like... several years ago
but I guess it was just on gamepass and a few giveaways?
I definitely own a copy of it that I don't think I paid for

(.... that originally came out in 2011, based on the date of this video? Or maybe it's the "SA" version that's new)

Think this is the last thing I backed on kickstarter. Rather excited to see it finally in EA.

There was some chat a while back that EA were going to move Fifa to a F2P model, obviously that's not happening now.
But EA Sports FC seems like a "good" time to make that change.
