I wonder if Section 31 will happen or if that ship has sailed. I remember reading that they wanted to wait until one of the current Trek shows was done, but I also don't know if that kinda premise is really what people want, especially with how well SNW has been received.

Love Natasha Lyone. Love Nick Note. Turns out, when they talk to each other for three minutes, it's like a bow dragged across another bow. There needs to be a string somewhere, for me.

Really liked episode 7 of Poker Face ("The Future of the Sport"). Slight shakeup to the usual formula. Good villain(s), excellent twists, a real solid ending that didn't have to involve law enforcement. Tim Blake Nelson is always wonderful.

And my favorite Breeders song over the credits.

Same, it wasn’t exactly nails on a chalkboard but the whole time they were in a scene together I was like “wow these might be the two scratchiest voices in Hollywood right now, it feels like my ears are traveling down an unpaved road”

They've said they want 5 shows at a time max . Picard is over so 31 is up next

I suspect disco might end soon though and Worf - oh fuck I forgot Alexander again is gonna happen

Like, I won't say no to more Michelle Yeoh, but if what's-his-name from the first two seasons is there then my interest will go way down.

I'll reserve my thoughts until we actually see something from it, but I'm definitely not interested in 31 being treated as cool.

If you put your name into the Nick Note you have to do movie with Rosie O'Donnell or a tv show with Baby Yoda

In this episode of Golden Girls

The girls win $10,000 on a lottery ticket
    Blanche buys a jacket
Lotto ticket gets put in jacket
    Sophia (unknowingly) donates the jacket
They go to the thrift store to buy it but Michael Jackson buys it instead(he is not in the show. Just a bodyguard and you see a sequined hand)
Michael Jackson wears the jacket at his show(offscreen)
The jacket gets put up for auction
The girls get to the auction house ready to bid but the first bidder bids $10,000.
Turns out he was a politican with some scandals so he bought the jacket as a large donation and then gave the jacket to a homeless shelter
The girls are now pretending to be homeless but instead of getting the jacket they are learning a lesson about how and why anyone can become homeless.

Tonight I resumed my watching of The Good Wife, including an episode featuring Colin Sweeney and shibari.

At this point I presume the next appearance of Colin Sweeney will involve him having found the Lament Configuration.

Checking out some of that Apple TV I've heard not much about. Here are reviews:

Ted Lasso, 2 episodes: Seems fine.

    Mythic Quest, 1 episode: Yeeeesh.

Severance, a few episodes: Christopher Walken and John Tuttorro
holding hands in work cult?? That's some television.

Mythic Quest is the best example I’ve ever seen of “just give it like 4 episodes or so to get going”.

It went from an eye rolling collar tug to my favorite comedy on tv within the span of the first season.

Based on what I’ve heard about the previous seasons, I might just go straight to S3 of Picard.

Eh, season 1 is real bad. Just 100% missed the mark all around with every aspect that didn't involve Seven. Season 2 dragged out a single plot arc way too long across the entire season when it should have been like 2 or 3 episodes at most, but it did have some fantastic work from Alison Pill and Annie Wesching, and one episode that I would consider pretty great. But still, for the most part both seasons are very skippable. Especially since this season seems to be a relatively clean start, only really carrying over a couple of characters from the first two.

So a star trek show with the exception of tos and strange new worlds

tos season 1 is awful with very few exception

DS9 is more hits than miss

also yeah, picard s1 is just not good and s2 is 4 episodes stretched for an entire season

S2 is at least one of the few shows I have ever seen that unequivocally depicts ICE and US immigration policy action as fucking evil though

S1 of Lower Decks is great.

The first half of that season js really rough at best

Also, the first season of Prodigy was very solid. Looking forward to S2
