We're going through the medical insurance bullshit and the addition of Medicare has us just overwhelmed. Is there a good place to look at that will break things down a bit better? I know healthcare in the US is a byzantine nightmare, but this is making my head spin.
Basically we're looking at dropping my wife from my employer's coverage since she qualifies for Medicare now (the kid has been on Dr Dynasaur for a couple years already). But the more we're looking at it, maybe that's some really bad coverage? We're lost, looking for a bit of guidance.

Medicare vs insurance it's hard to know without knowing what your insurance is and how much it covers. Also, you'll want a supplemental plan if you go Medicare to cover prescription drugs + things like routine exams, out of pocket maxes, etc.
Never mind!
